So my friend, who is too embarrassed by this to do it herself, went here to get a fringe trim. She paid £10 for an utter disaster. She wanted a few cm's off her fringe which would have come to the tip of her nose. We spoke to the salon afterwards, and they said 'oh well fringes ping up when they are dry' I said 'surely the hairdresser should have taken that into consideration'. My own hairdresser says that ALL the time. They also said they couldn't refund the £10 as she had a... wash and blow dry as well. My friend had her fringe cut especially for a business launch party, where she wanted to look super nice and impress, but instead she had to clip it up. She dislikes her hair off her face so much that she was hugely self conscious at the event that she should have been enjoying. The salon said that the owner was back on Monday 5th June and would contact her. She has heard nothing. This makes the situation even worse. They cannot even compensate when one of their staff ruins something that to a woman is very personal. Word of advice, only go here if you want a dodgy fringe cut. See More Read Less

I can highly recommend John Peter & Co. So good to be pampered and well looked after by all the staff and come away feeling great with just the cut and colour I am looking for. Nicky has been my hairdresser for years and even though I now live in Glasgow I still regularly visit the salon as no-one does my hair better! Read Less

Really unhappy with the cut from this salon. My son came here and came away with a wonky fringe, over thinned hair and really short layers that stick out all over the place. Would definitely not recommend for children's hair. Read Less

Ive always felt uncomfortable in salons and what id thought would be a treat each time turns into a tense time where i could have gone out with a mohican or completely bald & just been so glad the experience was over. Came to John Peter saturday morning and what a difference i was put at ease immediately. The friendly atmosphere and the lovely Karen cut my hair. I went from very long hair to a lovely short cut and felt fab when i left. It was just the confidence boost i needed. Cant praise this salon enough. ☺ Read Less
