To be perfectly honest, I was extremely satisfied with the service I recieved. The staff were friendly and talented. However, alarm bells began to ring when multiple members of staff had acrylics which were clearly chipped, which did not bode well for the service - but, of course this could be excused. I had my nails done with a friend on Wednesday, and by the Saturday my right hand forefinger nail had fallen off. Me being me I blamed myself, I admit to picking the edges; but what followed was inexcusable. My friend also had her nails done there, so I realised I was not alone. I am writing this review on the Wednesday, one week after. I have lost 4 nails, and this time due to basic actions such as getting undressed or going to a spin class. My friend the week before, who received the same service, had also lost 3 nails in just one week. This is truly unacceptable for £25 acrylics to have fallen off in one week, I normally get my acrylics done elsewhere and they last one month on average. Disappointment is an understatement. My friend and I had acrylics done by the method of dips, with glitter on the nails. If you are still going to go here, do not get dips. #girltogirl (or boys, it is the 21st century!) Read Less

I've had gel nails a few times and although they last longer much longer than regular nail varnish I still end up chipping them, well 9 days after going to blush they are still fully intact. I'm really pleased with them and I'll be back. Thanks Read Less

In over 10 years visiting many salons Iona is by far the best nail technician I have found, perfectly sculpted acrylic nails and they are long lasting and durable, (she's also great at tinting and waxing eyebrows)!!! Whilst at the salon I have also had LV lashes treatment for the first time and it is magic for the eyelashes, very impressive results. Great atmosphere, the fact I travel 20 minutes to the salon is testament to how great the service and results are. Thank you girls. Read Less

I have been to blush a few times, first few times was ok. However I went to have infills which cost me £18, the price was fine but the lady who did them was rude, hardly spoke to me. But having been before and liked it I have them another go. Then when I went back and has infills again I had chrome on 2 fingers which was wrong, not what I asked for and the lady knew that I also had some gems on 2 of my nails to. I took my own nail varnish in because they don't have many colours and they charged me £26. Which is a huge price difference, I'm not happy with my nail and I won't be back. Read Less

My friend came here today n the service was disgusting! The lady was so arrogant n snappy! Her nails didnt even cover her nail beds and when she confronted the lady to say the colour was wrong on the first nail she said to late! N when she asked how the glitter will look she abruptly said how will i know until i put it on! Shes had to go another salon have them taken off n redone! These where for her daughters christening! Not reccomended so unprofessional! Also marks on nails because was rushing and didnt allow acrylic dry before applying gel ended up with lumps! Read Less

I had my eyelashes done on a Tuesday 2nd August evening for my birthday night out in Newcastle on Saturday night 6th August. the girl that did my lashes assured me they would last two weeks. By the Thursday 4th August half of them had fallen out, I rang to see if they could fit me in before my night out on Saturday for some replacements. They could under no circumstances fit me in before the following Tuesday at 6pm by this time all my lashes had fallen out. When I went into the shop the girl who does the lashes her attuitde absolutely stunk. After sitting there for 25 minutes whilst they all whispered between one other they decided I could hav only have half a set. How ridiculous!!!!!!!! I would think twice about using this salon, they need to learn to take some constructive criticism. If I could give 0 stars I would. Read Less
