I usually only post 100% positive reviews and I have been thinking long and hard about writing this one because it's not going to be 100%, I'm afraid. Fear not though, it's not going to be some crazy rant, nothing shocking happened. I just been looking at my nails since having them done and I can't help but be disappointed... I'm not one of the clients that have their nails done every fortnight and for me it's a treat. When I have my nails done at the salon and pay £25 for ...it I want to enjoy having immaculate nails for a short while. This time has been the worst so far but the thing is I've experienced it twice now. Again, upon closer inspection I saw that the layers of gel polish have been applied very thinly and in places I can see the colour of my nail peeking through it...Honestly I would pay extra to have three layers if that's the only way I can have even, truly opaque nail colour...I understand that the salon wants to make most of one bottle of polish but I'm at a point where I think I'd just rather pay extra in that case. I can't express how frustrating this is. Also, I had a pearly powder colour applied to two nails and they look ..wrong, I think my nail technician wasn't very good at brushing them on because they look uneven. Sigh.. Should I have pointed it out at the salon? Probably..But it's hard, I personally feel awkward telling a professional how to do their job..and honestly, if I'm paying I just want to relax and feel like I don't have to be in control of the process and scrutinise every nail under a microscope before I leave the salon... My nails look fine, not great but they will do. Gel polish is not chipping away etc. Fine is just not the standard I have in mind when I go to have my nails done professionally... Just wanted to say, overall I really like how the salon is set-up, ability to book with the app etc. It's a very nice little salon with very nice staff, everything is there for the full on beauty experience...but sadly I've just not been very lucky with the quality. Wonderfully friendly and helpful today for my first ever nail experience, ready for my daughter's wedding this Saturday! Great advice and the whole process was top class from start to finish. Just went back for my second visit at the nail lounge. Super impressed with how long the gel lasted and still looked amazing 3 weeks in. Loving my nails and colour today, once again by Jessica. Would highly recommend, lovely staff and lovely atmosphere. Read Less

I started coming to The nail lounge about 2 months ago and all I can say is that the girls here offer me the best all round beauty experience. They offer a huge variety of treatments including HD brows, nails, lashes, facials the works. Their late night/7 days a week opening hours ethos suits their clients, they totally get this concept and it works. Finally a salon that gets it!! It means I can come here after work and get everything done under one roof. Easily. Without stress. Within a time frame a person with full time job can actually achieve. It's fab! Absolutely Fab!! The nail lounge and Indulgent Therapies did all my services for my wedding and nails for my bridesmaids and I felt a million dollars.
