Always had fantastic food and service here until today. My main meal was served cold, very disappointed, yes, the owner was very apologetic however when my meal returned my plate was extremely hot, plus my Yorkshire pudding had disappeared. Embarrassingly, I asked for this back (I'm not one for complaining). By the time I'd got my meal my partner was almost finished. I then had dessert which was a chocolate fudge cake, this was lovely but it came with a dirty grain of rice on top. I couldn't even bring myself to mention this as I'd already had to raise two issues and felt very awkward. I would of hoped for a drink at least to be discounted off the bill by way of apology for my cold meal but no adjustment had been made. Like I say, I am not one for complaining and am not out for a free ride. But when I come to a quality establishment I would hope for quality food and service. Very disappointing today, a real let down. The young man who served us was great and I'm only sorry we never left a tip for him however due to the other problem areas we did not leave any tip. Sat night out with friends. Lovely meal with excellent service. Our waitress was extremely helpful and suggested 2 of us share a starter as it was quite a large portion which we did - plenty for 2. All the meals were delicious and we could not fault. Will definitely be going back. Read Less

I love this place! Me & my partner first visited to try it out after driving past a few times. It’s fantastic and welcoming! The food is always delicious & the staff are so lovely! You don’t get rushed out, you can sit there all night if you’d like. I’ve brought back friends for girls nights and it’s still as excellent as my first visit! I loved it that much that my partners mum got me a voucher to spend at the salon or restaurant! Just been in for lunch and once again LOVED it. We had the Italian platter and I had the pear cheesecake for dessert. If I was ever on death row, that cheesecake would be part of my last meal! Dined here on Saturday November 25th 2017 with my husband and our friends, the place has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered the Moroccan spiced lamb from the specials board and was really disappointed. It was served on a naan bread, the lamb was very dry as if it had been reheated and lacked flavour and wasn't really hot. The naan bread was cold and quite firm as if no attempt had been made to warm it. In addition the wine per bottle was really expensive just short of £18. That said, the 3 other people in my party really liked their food, the rib eye steaks are tender, the burgers and meatloaf are very good and presentation of them very good too. Fabulous venue, great decoration and ambiance. Waiting staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, they explained the menu well. We love coming to Crowded House, out of all of the places we eat we have never had any problems here. We always get a table, the staff are super friendly and welcoming, the food and drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed meal.
