I have TRIED twice to get my nails done here, however both times the staff and owner were so rude I walked back out again. If I am paying for a service I expect it with a smile, have these people never heard of customer service ? Probably why they are always empty! So much competition no need to put up with rudeness !!! I have been a customer of Kim's since 2001. At the time I bit my nails very badly & she assured me that I would never bite them again!!! She was right although I do still nibble the skin around my nails!! I have always found the service at the salon very good & I go every two weeks. Kim always does my nails but I have no objection to Mia doing them in her absence. It's nice to see that Kim gets such good reviews although there are one or two that are less than pleasant. Kim is always very honest & if an idea isn't going to work she'll say so! You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear & although I should love to have long elegant slim nails - the reality is that I naturally have broad shaped nails & fingers that would never be slim! I found Kims nail bar online and thought I'd try it out as I have never found a good nail shop before. After my first visit I was really pleased with the amazing work they did. I've been coming to Kim's nails for 10 years. Had a lovely red colour today- thanks kim for fitting me in. Always receive great comments at work/ social life about how nice my nails look especially over summer season - always like experimenting with new colours and the new season look. Pinks for summer and Maroon for winter. Always recommend Kim's Glamorous Nails to friends and family. I will not go anywhere else for my nails! Kim persuaded me to get my eyebrows microbladed by her. She assured I would have no gaps and would never need to pencil again. The shape of the eyebrows are awful but on top of that they aren't even the same! I'm getting people asking where I got my eyebrows from because they are awful! When I went for my touch up I told her what bits I wasn't happy with as they weren't done and she kept saying "I know darling don't worry" without letting me finish speaking. They are now patchy and my skin around the eyebrows is so sore and sensitive despite getting them done last December. I have given this place chance after chance but I refuse to spend another penny there. The gel nails were so poorly done. I understand Kim was on holiday and the one lady in there was rushed off her feet but she should be more realistic on timescales and not compromise on quality. I'm now off on holiday with the most horrendous gel nail paint job. I DO NOT RECOMMEND...I REALLY SHOULD BE LOOKING AT A REFUND! Awful, just awful!!!! Read Less
