Took my daughter for gel nails for an 18th birthday treat (cost £25). Less than a week later they were seriously chipped - some nails had almost peeled off entirely. We went back and I politely explained and the woman said she would re-do them. I left my daughter there while I ran some errands. 10 minutes later my daughter called me in tears. The woman had been very rude and aggressive and told my daughter it must have been her fault and that she had to pay £23 to get them re-done. Apparently she spent the entire time I was gone, pointing out other customers in the shop and saying theirs hadn't chipped - my daughter felt very intimidated by her rude and aggressive manner. Appalling way to treat customers. Make that ex-customers.

Terrible service! Don’t bother trying to book as they don’t honour your appointment (and reading other reviews it seems that I’m not the only person this has been an issue for). If you try to complain about this fact then the extremely rude lady will soon put you in your place, helpfully in front of a shop full of people. My sister went the day before me (she too had booked an appointment and was told to “come back in an hour. I’m too busy for you now!”) and her nails had cracked and fallen off within four days. Honestly wouldn’t bother. It’s a run down place with terrible staff and cheap products. Waste of time and money.

I agree sue them for discrimination. It broke my heart reading it on the news. I hope they do shut down also you might want to get trading standards involved. I wish you all the very best and hope a miracle will happen x

If your face doesn't fit then prepare for a bumpy ride. They carry a plethora of prejudices that make them personally unfit for dealing with the public.
Workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Preferring to cut corners to save money rather than doing a good job and generating trade through recommendations.
There are several better options for nails within the area.

Don't go here. Rude rude rude. My mum who has served the local community as a primary teacher all her life and now has terminal brain cancer was taken here to cheer her up. She was perfectly able to sit still for the treatment but they don't do 'ill people' .
I have never come across anyone so rude, disrespectful and generally just vile. Hope this business gets shut down and no one gives them any of their money

I never ever write reviews but as a business owner myself I was absolutely disgusted with the attitude of the older lady that works in this shop. I took my kids with me 10 and 4 both well behaved kids she shouted at them for sitting on the chairs and then there were sitting looking out the window and she then tells them to stop tracing the letters on the window! Causing no harm to anyone be warned don't take your kids there she was so bloody rude to them and me

Have got shellacs and acrylics done here - shellacs fine, acrylics wreck your nails because they're more concerned about taking short cuts to get more clients in rather than taking care with clients. Shellacs are fine though. A big problem I have is their refusal to actually book appointments or stick to them - it's not uncommon to have to wait at least an hour and half regardless of you phone ahead or not.

Nails were fine at first. I had acrylics with white varnish on top, I got them done 6 days ago and 4 of them have cracked! Which lead them to falling off and ripping my real nails underneath and have left my nails in a bad state! Ps. They cracked really easily by simple things such as lightly hitting my hand on a wall etc. most staff were friendly. I know I wasn't the only one to have experienced this as two girls who got them done on the same day as me have had nails that ripped off really quickly and damaged their nails! Not too impressed with the service here.

Took my daughter for gel nails for an 18th birthday treat (cost £25). Less than a week later they were seriously chipped - some nails had almost peeled off entirely. We went back and I politely explained and the woman said she would re-do them. I left my daughter there while I ran some errands. 10 minutes later my daughter called me in tears. The woman had been very rude and aggressive and told my daughter it must have been her fault and that she had to pay £23 to get them re-done. Apparently she spent the entire time I was gone, pointing out other customers in the shop and saying theirs hadn't chipped - my daughter felt very intimidated by her rude and aggressive manner. Terrible service! Don’t bother trying to book as they don’t honour your appointment (and reading other reviews it seems that I’m not the only person this has been an issue for). If you try to complain about this fact then the extremely rude lady will soon put you in your place, helpfully in front of a shop full of people. If your face doesn't fit then prepare for a bumpy ride. They carry a plethora of prejudices that make them personally unfit for dealing with the public.
Workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Preferring to cut corners to save money rather than doing a good job and generating trade through recommendations.
There are several better options for nails within the area.

Don't go here. Rude rude rude. My mum who has served the local community as a primary teacher all her life and now has terminal brain cancer was taken here to cheer her up. She was perfectly able to sit still for the treatment but they don't do 'ill people' .
I have never come across anyone so rude, disrespectful and generally just vile. Hope this business gets shut down and no one gives them any of their money

Have got shellacs and acrylics done here - shellacs fine, acrylics wreck your nails because they're more concerned about taking short cuts to get more clients in rather than taking care with clients. Shellacs are fine though. A big problem I have is their refusal to actually book appointments or stick to them - it's not uncommon to have to wait at least an hour and half regardless of you phone ahead or not.

Nails were fine at first. I had acrylics with white varnish on top, I got them done 6 days ago and 4 of them have cracked! Which lead them to falling off and ripping my real nails underneath and have left my nails in a bad state! Ps. They cracked really easily by simple things such as lightly hitting my hand on a wall etc. most staff were friendly.
