Super happy with their service. Is true is not the cheapest in town but is very, very good for everything beauty. Georgina has done my nails several times and she is fantastic. I am also very happy with the way Susana has help me to improve my skin and reduce acne and scarring. Even other people has noticed it and got compliments! I never had a better skin. I have been a regular customer for over a year now and have been coming to have a Hollywood wax every 6-8 weeks. The last two waxes I have had have been well below standard and were both done by the same person. The first one was on the 15th of August and by the time I went on holiday on the 27th of August I had significant regrowth. It caused me agony where the hairs were rubbing me. I have never had this before with a wax, it felt as if I had shaved. I have been getting a Hollywood for many years and I am shocked at how bad this is. I thought maybe this was just a one off but it has happened again. I had a wax on the 12th of September and I am extremely uncomfortable again today on the 21st. It is a level of discomfort that feels like a burning itch because the hairs are rubbing me constantly. Both waxes have been done by Kelly who is a lovely person but I am completely convinced is not able to do a Hollywood wax. I don't think it is acceptable for a wax to cause pain and I also don't think it's acceptable to have significant regrowth after a week. I have phoned today to complain and request that I'm seen this weekend because I cannot suffer the same pain again waiting for it to regrow. I have been offered a pathetic 25% discount on my next wax. I am absolutely shocked that the salon are not rushing to fix their terrible work. I have spent £80 on two waxes that have caused me pain and look absolutely terrible. I will no longer be a client at this salon and will take my regular business elsewhere as their manager clearly does not care at all about customer service. Read Less

I have had waxing for 4 years (in other places) and I went for a waxing session here. The lady waxing me was rushing all the way through, covering (literally) half of my body in wax all in one go, and then taking it off at speed of light. Often she would only half pull the wax, doubling the pain. It took only 20 minutes to do half of my body (usually takes 45 min or longer). I had wax on my clothes, head hair, armpits. Everywhere. I complained about the speed and carelessness of the service. I was replied she only had 30 minutes, including getting dressed and undressed, so she had to stick to that time. UNBELIEVABLE. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told the manager was not available. I was still asked to pay full price. I am still taking off wax from my clothes and body. AWFUL service. Lovely friendly staff very helpful. I've been using simplicity now for over 4years for: Eye brows 5/5 Eye lashes 3/5 - as I didn't like the dye on my lashes. Waxing 5/5 - with Penny who is amazing! Spray tan 4/5 - only had 3 as I don't usually tan. Skin treatment 4/5 - with Susana unfortunately I couldn't afford many of the products but from my 4 sessions she really helped me understand my skin and help massively with clearing up my spots! I saw the laser treatment advert outside this salon. When I came in, the receptionist asked me to write my details on a posting note, she just had her nails done, bare in mind it was Sat afternoon.  Fair enough I received a call the same day. The conversation didn’t get far. I struggled to get clear and understandable answers to my questions such as how much would the treatment cost, are there any restrictions or side effects. At the end I agreed to book an appointment for a patch test, for which I was told that I would have to pay 20 pounds. That did make me feel suspicious because all patch tests are usually free. I decided to book myself in to have a face-to-face conversation.  When I came for a quote and a patch test, on the day of my appointment, the receptionist informed me that my booking is not on the system. Been visiting Simplicity for a few years now. Good at eyebrows, waxing and shellac nails in my experience. Always helpful and try to fit you in when booking in advance or walking in off the street. Had a terrible facial here once but think that was the person not the place. A bit pricey but good. Read Less
