Sadly this wasn’t a very nice experience. I had to tell the lady whose doing my nails to clean more and she’s just saying I can’t see anything wrong with them. I also have an ingrown nail and she tells me we don’t handle nails like that, and they’re actually called Five Star NAILS! They should work on cleaning cuticles more!

I had my eyebrows waxed here instead of my usual place to try something new. I usually have my brows waxed and they are absolutely fine. My skin is not overly sensitive or unusual in any way. However, the lady kept telling me i should thread instead of wax because my skin was too sensitive, but i responded that I get my eyebrows waxed frequently and it is fine. I only ever experience a little redness.
When she had finished, she showed me my eyebrows in the mirror. Not only were they not shaped arched as I had asked for, but she had ripped off the layer of skin on my browbone. When I mentioned this, she blamed me, saying i have ‘thin, sensitive skin’. There was no apology. I do not have very sensitive or thin skin, however everyone has thinner skin in the browbone area and it is the waxers job to use the correct amount of pressure so as to not damage the clients skin.
I am appalled that I did not recieve an apology and that the lady did not seem remorseful at all. The fact that she tried to blame me for ber own mistake was ridiculous and insulting. Do not get your eyebrows done here!

I have been coming here since they opened-mainly good,but it depends who you get.It can be a bit inconsistent,even with the same technician-I guess if they are busy or not,but that's annoying coming out of there wishing they could be done again!!!!!But the staff are nice and treat you well.

(Would rate 0 if I could). Terrible experience. First guy who did my nails had no clue, took the wrong colour from the one I picked from the chart and when I asked him to remove it and do it again he kept telling me if he’d put more coats on and it would look right (clearly not). Another guy then came over and did another colour for me (chose red instead) and it looked like a good job even though they were smirking and laughing (clearly about me being unhappy with their service). Anyway, the nails looked good and lasted 2 weeks so I was prepared to let this go and never come back. HOWEVER, went to my usual nail tech today and she was shocked at the terrible job they’d done. They must have made a mistake in applying the shellac (feel like it was deliberate now) and now my nails are stained red and look awful! Will have to keep covering them until they grow out!!!! Cannot believe it. Thought this place was good but should have looked at the bad reviews first. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Have been to many nail salons but have never received anything this unprofessional

I wouldn’t even give them one star. I asked for shortish natural nails and I got short square huge nails. I also asked for glitter to be added on my index finger and the lady did it all clumpy and her reason behind it was that it’s done free hand and wasn’t willing to fix it. The part which was most shocking was that when I paid I left to meet a friend who was coming to get her nails done too, but when I returned they all stopped working and stared at me saying “they haven’t had my payment” when I’d paid and had a receipt to prove it. Couldn’t believe they made me feel like such a criminal.

Went there to get my acrylics taken off, half of the acrylic was left on my nails I mentioned it to the nail technician and instead of putting my hands back into the liquid he just kept sanding away at my natural nail to the point where it hurt, and they look awful now! I'm sure all the other staff are lovely however this one guy was just rude and did not make you feel welcome at all.

We were looking for a nail bar last minute and found five star, My grandma and I treated ourselves to a pedicure and gel nails. Really friendly and welcoming, professional quality service. Would highly recommend, and the prices were very reasonable indeed! The lady in particular had a lovely demeanour and treated us both so well! 5 stars :)

I really liked this place it was great and always did a brilliant job, until Sunday! The guy decided to scrub the tops of my toes with a pumice stone! Why on earth anyone would do that is totally baff...
I really liked this place it was great and always did a brilliant job, until Sunday! The guy decided to scrub the tops of my toes with a pumice stone! Why on earth anyone would do that is totally baffling and then when my I started to bleed he blamed it on my skin! So paid £20 to have my skin ripped off and come away in pain! Please only use pumice stones where they're supposed to be used...On the bottom of your feet! Ouch! Such a shame I really liked it.

Sadly this wasn’t a very nice experience. I had to tell the lady whose doing my nails to clean more and she’s just saying I can’t see anything wrong with them. I had my eyebrows waxed here instead of my usual place to try something new. I usually have my brows waxed and they are absolutely fine. My skin is not overly sensitive or unusual in any way. However, the lady kept telling me i should thread instead of wax because my skin was too sensitive, but i responded that I get my eyebrows waxed frequently and it is fine. I only ever experience a little redness.
When she had finished, she showed me my eyebrows in the mirror. Not only were they not shaped arched as I had asked for, but she had ripped off the layer of skin on my browbone. When I mentioned this, she blamed me, saying i have ‘thin, sensitive skin’. There was no apology. Went there to get my acrylics taken off, half of the acrylic was left on my nails I mentioned it to the nail technician and instead of putting my hands back into the liquid he just kept sanding away at my natural nail to the point where it hurt, and they look awful now! I'm sure all the other staff are lovely however this one guy was just rude and did not make you feel welcome at all.
