I have tried many different nails bars but this is certainly the best in Richmond and all the staff speak English. I have both pedicures, manicures, gel infills and waxing and threading here and am always happy. The staff are great, so welcoming and friendly and funny to . Always a great experience ! I've been to this place 3 times now and would say that I'm really disappointed with my experience. The first time was good, but I guess only because I got someone who apparently knew what they are doing, and it was a pretty quiet time of the day. The second and third time was like a 7 year old decided to have a go at it. Apparently if you're not a regular, who they know by name, you just get your feet and hands washed for £35. Delux Pedicure was great, despite getting a small burn from the wax. The lady who did it was concerned, although I didn't like the way her boss told her off. Had a eyebrow wax and tint as well and was horrified that they wax before tinting. There was no explanation to what was going to happen, just straight on the bed and wax on. I pulled the girl up on it straight away she laughed at me and said she had been doing it this way for years and carried on. I explained I knew what was industry standard and the risk of doing it that way but she wasn't bothered. Appalling service. My daughter went today with a couple of friends, they are all 13 years old and it was a treat for my daughter for her birthday and her school report. When they first got there, they laughed at them, then finally attended then after confirming with parents that it was ok the job and customer attendance was appalling and I'll make sure I never go there or my friends. They were ignored several times or would start doing their nails and then go away to attend o...ther customers, they were not even offered a glass of water while all other customers were offered drinks, their attitude was very rude and they came out very unhappy and humiliated. 1 of the girls' manicure was all uneven and messed up. AMAZING!!! I had a classic manicure with no appointment and they fitted me in no problem. I have short nails which are sometimes hard to do well but they are fantastic, feel like gels and no smudging at all. The staff were friendly and all laughing and joking creating a great atmosphere. Me and a friend went in I had infills and shellac which started pealing off after 4 days 😡 And she had a manicure and shellac and hers only lasted 3 days the staff where ignorant and rude Do angry with the job and to top it off it was over priced I'm so angry Read Less

Absolutely appalling. Stay clear They didn't even remove my previous nail Polish and now there are red spots on some nails under CLEAR nail polish... the cuticle work is horrid, worst I've ever had and I get my nails done at least monthly. I was even observing and I realised they don't sterilise instruments between customers!! I saw woman using the same instruments on the next client after me without sterilisation!! Do you know what you can catch from that?? They also refus...ed to give me colour of my choice. I wanted black with white French tips but the manicurist basically said she cannot do that. So it was regular French manicure (I've done black with white several times in other places and had no problems at all. Ever). She also didn't put any base coat.. just white tips and put me to dry saying she will put the top coat later. Only she forgot about me for 20 minutes and I had to ask someone else to put the top coat on me. Absolute waste of money. You can do better at home. See more Read Less

I been really happy after I get my nails done there. They looked great. No waiting. Quick service and nice people, but shame that they don't clean staff which they using to do your nails. I never seen any of the staff sanitising anything and unfortunately they gave me nail fungus. And I'm sure I get it from this place bcoz I never done my nails somewhere else. So be careful when you going there it takes a lot of time to get rid of nail fungus. Read Less

I've always received decent service at RS but this last time I was really disappointed. Upon payment I was told I needed to go get cash however there was no signs stating 'cash only' and I have paid with card several times in the past. I mentioned the card machine and he reluctantly produces the machine to which I then put in my details but unbeknownst to me it doesn't connect and he says nothing. Whilst I'm waiting I ask for change so I can leave a tip but when he looks in t...he drawer and says he doesn't have change, then tells me to go to a local shop. He wasn't apologetic or polite, he obviously wasn't bothered about the tip for another employee. I am then told by another employee the card machine couldn't connect so I needed to get cash. The end of the experience was tainted by the rudeness of the man and also with the fact that paying, bills and tip, turned into a palava. PROS - They accept walk-ins and prices are average for Richmond. Nail techs are all friendly. CONS -  As much of a friendly bunch they are, the guy I had did not do a very good job on my french tipped shellac nails. I normally let nail techs do whatever but this guy was clearly in a hurry (a lot of customers were coming in during the lunch hour) so I found myself gently correcting him a few times. The hand "massage" (if you could even call it that) consisted of him putting lotion on my hands for 15 seconds and concluding the manicure session. My shellac nails chipped the next day. It was definitely a red flag when they were removing my old shellac and told me how hard it was to get off (it's quality shellac, what did they expect?) -- I should have known that their surprise was foreshadowing their products were easy to remove/chip off (therefore lesser quality than other salons offering shellac). They stopped talking in their native language when they found out I understood their language -- interesting. CONCLUSION - I had old shellac on a few nails and the lady said she would take it off for free but when the manicure session ended (the lady nail tech went to lunch and the guy nail tech took over), I was charged £3 for shellac removal - I mentioned it to him but he insisted they always charge for shellac removal.
