Went in with no appointment at 10:30 on a Saturday morning with my daughter (age 10) for us both to have a pedicure. There was a few people waiting but, understanding it was a Saturday morning and I would expect it to be busy, I was prepared to wait. The staff were aware of us and what we wanted done. Two more ladies came in a few minutes later. One for a pedicure and the other a manicure. They were told it would be an hour wait so they booked to come back at 11:30. I assumed the waiting time was based on who was already ahead of them (including us) and any other bookings they already had. Another lady appeared at just before 11:00 for a pedicure and when space became free she was called over. Apparently she'd been in earlier. Fair enough. Two more ladies came in at just past 11 with an appointment for two pedicures at 11:00. As they were very busy and I was already aware there were two others coming back at 11:30 I asked how long we were going to have to wait. The reason for asking was mainly so we didn't sit their like lemons all morning getting shunted down the queue whilst others with appointments (made in front of us whilst we were already sitting in the shop) were seen before us. The girl got a bit shirty but said we'd be next which was fine. She then proceeded to have a conversation with her customer about how I couldn't expect to turn up without an appointment and not wait. The lady did point out that I had been sitting there very patiently with my daughter and people that came in after me were going to be ahead of us. Another lady came in, looked at us all waiting and asked 'is this the queue?', to which I responded yes. She said she wouldn't bother and left. They then started those with the appointment at 11:00. About 11:20 who I can only assume was the owner came over and said we would have another 20 minutes to wait. When we agreed that was ok she then had a go at me and said not to talk to her customers (the lady that came in and left) and put them off. Apparently it is none of my business. I stayed for the sake of my daughter who was started after waiting 1 hour and 15 mins. The ladies with the 11:30 appointment showed up at 11:50. I was eventually called at 12:10 after a 1 hour and 40 minute wait. By this point I couldn't bear the thought of being in the shop any longer so declined and used the time waiting for daughter to write this review! I had no issue with waiting but quite clearly the staff have no clue how to operate a booking system and rather than being apologetic were plain rude. If we'd been told it was such a long wait when we first got there we could have gone elsewhere. You can't offer appointments to people that will mean they will leapfrog those that have sat and waited patiently. Needless to say I'll be going elsewhere in future! Whilst I was waiting another customer came in with an 'appointment'. As she said when she saw lots of people waiting 'it's a joke, I don't know why they bother with appointments' so clearly I'm not the only one who thinks it's a farce! Read Less
