Some visits my nails seem to have faired better than others and I have decided that the young man who works there is my favourite for a long lasting gel polish. Great at nails, but staff are rude on the phone, tried to book an appointment but hung up on me 3 times and got confused one out of 3 times as they thought I was someone else with a different appointment, then when I asked if I could make an appointment, again the phone was put down on me. Absolutely in love with Ava Gold First time trying the shop, never thought I would use a different nail technician but after my wonderful experience today, Ava Gold is my 1st choice! Reviewing for a second time from a different prospective. Love Ava Gold for its "bit extra" compared to competitors. Luxury furnishings, lovely friendly staff; this always feels a real treat. Today I had my daughters with me (9 & 4); they really deserved a little treat. They couldn't have been more accommodating & are chuffed to bits with their toes. Ive been having my nails done twice a month at Ava Gold Spa since they opened, and have not once regretted it. From the moment i walk in until the moment i leave i feel welcome and well looked after. With a warm welcome and the offering of tea, coffee, a soft drink and even a glass of vino or prosecco (which is normally my choice) i always enjoy my time in Ava Gold. Best salon for my regular mani-pedi and acrylic nails. Massive choice of colours and finish, plus lovely staff. I've had it done elsewhere before and haven't always been happy, but the finish when these girls do their magic is perfect. Only tricky thing is choosing the next colour :) Read Less
