This Salon changed owners last year and the new owner has completely turned the place around, the staff are friendly chatty and professional, and while they do sometimes talk in their language they never make me feel uncomfortable. The best nail service I've had!!! I've had both acrylics and SNS and both have always been perfect. I've previously been to nail salons where the treatment is rushed and therefore doesn't last long. Really bad pedicure,the worst pedicure I have ever had.My feet look even worse than before .the person didn't even filed my nails,just polished.Complained, but they said nothing they can do. Had enough of Hayes Beautiful nails, I- among many others who visit the salon find them extremely rude, unhelpful and make an experience which should be exciting and relaxing, dull and uncomfortable. They give the impression that they're speaking about you in another language by looking at you speaking with their colleagues then laughing or rolling their eyes (and you can only imagine not nice things are being said between them) and when they do take the breath to speak to you in English it's very snappy, not to mention they never crack a smile. Oh and don't dare try and ask them to do something differently, like cut your nails shorter or change the polish as it doesn't come out as it looks on the bottle, that doesn't go down well. What happened to the customers always right?! They do nails fairly averagely, so if you have the time to go somewhere else do it. Would never use this salon again. They are not welcoming or friendly, and cleanliness is really questionable. And the worst part - they use the metal buffing machines on your natural nails (either due to laziness or to save time). This seriously damages your nails. I had a manicure weeks ago and still have deep grooves where my nails are damaged as they are growing out. Such a shame as its such a convenient location, but service and standards are awful. Popped in for a spur of the moment pedicure. There were 3 staff in (2 women and a man), who were so deep in their conversion that they could barely tear themselves away to deal with any customers. I can honestly say that the person who did my pedicure said no more than 2 words to me in the whole exchange 'sit' and 'colour?', if he wanted me to move, he'd not break away from his conversion with the other staff, but merely tap my feet to indicate that he wanted me to move them in some way. If your looking to treat yourself or for a relaxing treatment, this isn't the place for you. Very brusk treatment, they get the job done, but they get it done as quickly as possible, with virtually no interaction with the customers. Its all seems to be abit of an inconvenience to them. I won't bother going back (didn't tip them - there was no element that warranted a tip and nor would recommend it) there are an abundance of nicer places to go. Read Less
