I give to this salon 4 stars. Salon: - all good, girls in this salon really pretty and when you look on them you wanna make all treatments for this result; - place look new look and fresh. I visited this salon for mani/pedi with shellack. It took 3 hours, coz Catilin (she was my master) removal my shellac what I had. Manicure: - in classic manic include little work with cutticule. It was really little work; - nails were paint well; - just one suggestion one of my nail was broken and I know some salons they can re-build nail. I were surprised that in this place you can't do this. I saw a lot of good reviews about this place and honestly still dont understand why you don't do this? Pedi plus salon: - I liked how they did my pedicure. Colour and shape; - not properly work with cuticule. I paid for all 76 £, because my master was less experience. But I think Catalin was really good. She ask me a lot how I feel, am i sure about colour, is it hurt what she doing. So i had only positive memory about beauty salon. Thank you! Read Less

I have been here twice with my best friend. The first time was a pedicure as a birthday treat and it was a really lovely experience, a job well done, pedicure lasted ages! So, we booked again as a treat this time for me with my due date for second baby fast approaching. This time we opted for a manicure with normal nail polish but it was a real disappointment. My friends nails were done with the last bit of the nail polish in the bottle, which made it thick and gloopy finish. The colour was uneven and despite both of us giving way more than the recommended 30 mins of drying time, our varnish was still tacky and smudged. The price of this manicure is almost the same of gel extension nails I've had done elsewhere that has lasted weeks and looked so much better. My friend has has had a normal french nail polish on her real nails at the lower end of the Cheltenham high street at a fraction of the price that has lasted a week without any chips or smudges (they us UV light to dry?!). We emailed Tonic to tell them about our experience and they were so polite and offered for us to return and have them redone for free in a bid to show us how good our nails could look and last. My friend offered to forego her nails being done so that I could have a mani/pedi. She wanted to do something nice as it was approaching my due date and was also the anniversary of my dad's death. Tonic did not reply to emails and did not answer her calls. Sadly, we have had to tell friends to go elsewhere when they have asked for recommendations for places to go! We appreciate that Tonics experience is high end compared to the lower end of the high street but whether we go there or Tonic our first aim is nice and long lasting nails and if it means spending less and it not taking as long...well I know where id go.
