Always running late and prices are always made up on the day!
I've been going to Hollywood nails for the last year, considering I spend a good £40 each month I've never been treated with any care or been shown any loyalty by them. The woman who "runs the place" Three is obnoxious and rude and even laughed in my face today when I challenged the price for infills and shallac. For the last year I've been charged £28 for infill and shallac and today I was charged £33!! When I challenged this I was told they charge £5 to take the shallac off before they do the infills- if this is the case it should be reflected in their price list and not just be told at the end once the job has been done. They are have a card machine which I have used many times but now insist that everyone pays by cash, makes me you question the reason behind it. I would like to give some credit to the two young males who work there as they are undeniable hard workers who take time when they do your nails where as Three makes you feel your being rushed so she can fit more people in and the backlash of that is that the nails usually look terrible and break within a few days. Overal I have put up with their lack of customer care for quite a while but after today I can assure I will never be going back and will definitely be sharing my terrible experices with anyone who is thinking of going there.

Absolutely terrible place...went to have acrylics done for a special occasion...they didn't even cut my nails before doing the acrylics...mentioned it to the guy that was doing them...doesn't speak go...
Absolutely terrible place...went to have acrylics done for a special occasion...they didn't even cut my nails before doing the acrylics...mentioned it to the guy that was doing them...doesn't speak good english!! Could clearly see my nails a lot under the acrylics!! Wouldn't recommend at all!!!

I was charged £38 for infills and American tips at a £3 extra charge, on top of regular shellac. Bearing in mind this is on top of regular shellac and a single coat of polish. The experience is basic to say the least; I was not offered tea or coffee and was in the salon for 45 minutes.
When I questioned the cost I was told it was already done, there was no discussion. On inspecting my nails I found the remains of my previous manicure.
For the cost I'd expect perfection.
Avoid like the plague - Prices are misleading, and a far superior experience is to be had elsewhere - do not think that you're getting a bargain, you couldn't be more wrong.

The woman who did my nails was very unpleasant. She grabbed my hand roughly and filed my nails with a lack of care whilst looking around the room and talking to her colleagu...

The woman who did my nails was very unpleasant. She grabbed my hand roughly and filed my nails with a lack of care whilst looking around the room and talking to her colleagues. I made it clear that she was hurting me, at which point she slowed down and apologised that she was so busy.
My nails were done in 20 minutes - perhaps handy for those who need the job done in a hurry but I'm used to the manicurist taking a little more time.
During the treatment she told me that it would cost me £35 for a shellac manicure. I overheard others being charged £25 for the same thing, she told me that they were having something different. Another lady took my payment and charged me £25, which I believe to be correct. I wonder how many people are overcharged on a whim.

Really poor. Got a new set for my holiday. One broke one cracked and chipped. The rest was showing signs of cracking. They were so thin. Went for an early infill after 12 days. They wanted another £3 ...
Really poor. Got a new set for my holiday. One broke one cracked and chipped. The rest was showing signs of cracking. They were so thin. Went for an early infill after 12 days. They wanted another £3 to redo the cracked one. Not happy at all.

I was extremely pleased with my experience. Contrary to other reviews, I did feel pampered, I was dealt with quickly and efficiently and was offered refreshment whilst I waited. My nails are wonderful...

I've come to love this place. I have my nails done there regularly and they get the job done quickly and without fuss. It's not a pampering/conversation kind of place, so don't expect a spa experience...
I've come to love this place. I have my nails done there regularly and they get the job done quickly and without fuss. It's not a pampering/conversation kind of place, so don't expect a spa experience. But my nails always look good, last a long time and it's competitive.
