I really appreciated the knowledgeability of my hairdresser in consultation and as the haircut was in progress. My haircut came out shorter than expected and I was really disappointed but I generally wanted a shorter haircut and to donate my hair (nearly 15” came off). I recently spent a "spa day" here with a friend and the experience was AMAZING from start to finish. I had my very first massage and facial, along with a mani and pedi. Every person I interacted with was warm, friendly, and helpful. The environment was lovely and relaxing. It felt like making sure we were comfortable and happy was the top priority. I have lived in Lawrence 15+ years and started coming to Salon Di Marco after moving closer to downtown a couple of years ago. Best hair and customer service I've ever had. I've been seeing Dakota Driscoll and she is fantastic! She's changed me from brown to blonde to unicorn rainbow. I'm usually very particular when it comes to my mane and I put my full trust in her hands...she never disappoints and always gives me exactly what I picture. I used to go here when they had quality hairdressers - but stopped going months ago because of the bad service and outrages prices. After being hounded by emails to come back - I caved and made an appointment. Because of health issues I'm having, and a mix up with my husband I called to let them know that I would be 10 min. Late - I was 13 min late. Turned away. Not enough time. No one in the place - it was a ghost town and they turned me away. How many times have I waited 30- 45 min. On them and never said a word. I've been here for two pedicures, a manicure, a haircut and a massage now. It is definitely my go-to place, and I love having every service available in one salon! Karen worked wonders with my hair and is careful and thorough when doing manicures and pedicures.
