I like the atmosphere of the salon. I typically go to Peter to get my nails and pedicure - he is awesome - great personality and very attentive. I had been going to him for about 6 months now. However I was extremely disappointed that one time after only 3 days, the acrylic started lifting off of my nails, when I brought it to the salon's attention, they offered no compensation other than to let someone else do my nails. I was appauled and ended up getting my acrylic soaked off and just getting a manicure.

I visited the Golden Lounge & Spa on Christmas eve to purchase a gift card for my wife. I've never had a massage and don't know anything about them other that the fact that my wife loves them. I approached the front desk and stated that I would like to purchase a gift card for my wife. The girl at the desk offered me no help what so ever as to what the packages offered. Every time I asked a question I received a one or two word answer. At this point I am so pissed off wi...th her attitude,I just quickly chose a package that I thought she would enjoy. Then loudly the hostess states the price of the package (as if I couldn't read it myself) or in a tone as to say "can you afford that"! At this point literally biting my tongue I paid and walked out of the door. I will never purchase anything from this place again as long as the (not to sound racist) little white girl with her hair pulled back in a ponytail wearing too much makeup with the black leather jacket like the Fonz from Happy Days is working there at the desk! I think the spa experience gets lost. Staff were talking & laughing loudly amongst each other not realizing that ppl actually come there to relax , be pampered & unwind. Jason does a great job.

I was charged more than I authorized on my first visit to them. I wasn’t offered any fruit or drink interesting, others were. I went up there to ask why the amount is showing different coming from my account then what is on my receipt Nino had no answer. To me that’s stealing! I won’t be back unless this isn’t resolved soon. Then they will need to explain to me throughly where the extra money went, probably in someone’s pocket. Check your receipts and accounts.

My mother and i have been customers for about two years now. I actually started out with Nino and Jimmy back when they were working at Escape Nails Spa and I'm sad to say; but today may be my last time at this salon. I will not put up with disrespect from an owner, manager nor nail tech and Nino was disrespectful and I've had a feeling before that he thinks low of th customers; especially black customers.

As a business owner I am totally appauld with lack of service and care that I was shown. After a horrible pedicure by Jason I expressed my concerns and was offered nothing. I let that go and had someone else do my nails only for my gel polish to be peeling from the tips today. To top I off it's my birthday and I was working and could not make I back to Waldorf to be repaired. I paid $110 and decided to call to see what type of compensation could be made on my next visit and was told nothing could be done over the phone despite the receptionist remembering the complaint from yesterday. Just wanted to share some insight on the type of Customer Service you'll get at this establishment!!!! If you want your patronage to be appreciated take your business somewhere else!

One of my nails is totally damaged, extremely painful and fear that i am going to completely lose it. It was one of the butchers that works here that caused this, i queried a minor problem with my nail to be told there was no problem it would be fine as all they were interested in was my money! Now in agony and am really upset! I will be finding out who i make a complaint to about this shop!

I've never been to this place... was planning to book an appointment but after reading some of the reviews a lot of very good and others not good at all. I'm concerned! The comments about the owner being a racist and the disrespect by the employees, in my opinion why are we supporting this type of behavior? If you know that others of color are being treated this way although you have not experienced it, seems to me that we need to send a message. I will not be going based on the disrespect that others have shared. Take this seriously ladies ! Speak up snd speak out.....

I have lovely natural nails but love them to be painted beautiful and thats exactly what I get here. I also have my eyebrows wax and they are always perfect. Definitely recommend

I like the atmosphere of the salon. I typically go to Peter to get my nails and pedicure - he is awesome - great personality and very attentive. I had been going to him for about 6 months now. However I was extremely disappointed that one time after only 3 days, the acrylic started lifting off of my nails, when I brought it to the salon's attention, they offered no compensation other than to let someone else do my nails. I visited the Golden Lounge & Spa on Christmas eve to purchase a gift card for my wife. I've never had a massage and don't know anything about them other that the fact that my wife loves them. I was charged more than I authorized on my first visit to them. I wasn’t offered any fruit or drink interesting, others were. I went up there to ask why the amount is showing different coming from my account then what is on my receipt Nino had no answer. To me that’s stealing! My mother and i have been customers for about two years now. I actually started out with Nino and Jimmy back when they were working at Escape Nails Spa and I'm sad to say; but today may be my last time at this salon. I will not put up with disrespect from an owner, manager nor nail tech and Nino was disrespectful and I've had a feeling before that he thinks low of th customers; especially black customers.

One of my nails is totally damaged, extremely painful and fear that i am going to completely lose it. It was one of the butchers that works here that caused this, i queried a minor problem with my nail to be told there was no problem it would be fine as all they were interested in was my money! I've never been to this place... was planning to book an appointment but after reading some of the reviews a lot of very good and others not good at all. I'm concerned! The comments about the owner being a racist and the disrespect by the employees, in my opinion why are we supporting this type of behavior? I have lovely natural nails but love them to be painted beautiful and thats exactly what I get here. I also have my eyebrows wax and they are always perfect. Definitely recommend
