Prior to my last review regarding nails being over priced. I rang due to a few nails had chipped the lady "Lou" was very polite and helpful in fixing all my nails for no charge. 5 stars - would definitely go again! I was a bit unsure about entering initially due to the frosting on the doors as I couldn't see inside, but once I did I was acknowledged with a friendly smile and made to feel at home. The salon had a great atmosphere and friendly staff, I got seen almost immediately without an appointment. They also allowed my friend to come and sit with me even though she wasn't getting anything done. I asked for a Shellac manicure which was done quickly but professionally. There were a good range of colours to chose from and I didn't feel rushed in having to make a choice. We chatted throughout and he really made my friend and I feel at home. He ensured I was happy with the colour and results before I left. I'm really impressed with the service and now my nails were done. My name is Ashlee and today was my second experience at Glee. I wear long with nails with gel polish and coffin shape. During today's visit I was informed that I wasn't charged correctly at my previous visit, so today would be more. After clarification from Mary (manager) as to why... it made since, although unfortunate. During this visit, I was cut with the drill twice and ignored when I asked a question by the nail tech. Before the nail tech polished them, I noticed that my... old polish was still on almost all of my nails. I then asked her to stop and asked Mary if the old polish can be removed. They clearly expressed to me that they shouldn't have to because it would be polished over but I said no other patron has to have old polish, so why should I? They responded they are getting Nexgen. I asked is that the only way to have old polish removed? The nail tech finally agreed to file the polish off but it wouldn't come off. Mary then relayed that they could not meet my needs and asked me not to come back and refused to finish my nails. As the owner, I would like to know if you feel the same way? Came here for a quick eyebrow and lip wax. They had me sit in a chair out in the open (which was very unsettling to me as usually there is a private room to get these services done). Then the lady had a bright light shining only on the left side of my face. When she was done I had to have her go back twice for spots she totally missed (probably due to the horrible lighting situation) and I left with sticky spots all over my face. Oh, AND she ripped off skin on my actual lips. TERRIBLE. I will never come back here for waxing again. Too bad, cuz their pedicures are just fine. Read Less

From Mary when you first enter who gets me set up to Kelly or Kathy just to name a couple of the manicurists, they are simply great. They take their time to address your desires and sets them into motion. Taking their time and I absolutely enjoy the experience and the outcome each and every visit. I was with my friend, and I booked an appointment at 10.30 so I turned up at 10.30 but didn't get them started until 11.00. That was very inconvenient for me as I had to go somewhere after😁.
