I’ve been taking my daughter here to have her eyebrows waxed for a couple of years. I didn’t want her over plucking and regretting not having nice eyebrows later in life. The staff, setting and treatment have always been excellent. They leave her eyebrows full and beautifully shaped. Read Less

I have been into the salon for two appointments so far, the first being a complimentary skin consultation, I was amazed by the top of the range equipment that was used to diagnose my skin problems, I was (for the first time in my life) educated about my own face. What a revelation considering Ive tried just about every other place in Colchester. The lovely lady whose name i am yet to remember re assured me my skin with a bit of tlc will be an easy fix, and she gave me some samples to try which are also amazing. I can’t wait to start a course of facials, and see results! Second visit was a spray tan today, never have I had the brand used on me before, I was again, educated about what it does and where it’s been used before. She made me feel comfortable right away and also provided me with an aftercare sheet. It developed nicely and didn’t smear and wasn’t sticky and smelt really nice and 8 hours later washed off perfect and I don’t have any marks or knuckle lines like I have in the past. Nice colour exactly wha I wanted. Both times I’ve waited as I’ve turned up early and been attended to by the friendly and approachable staff members, looked after and made to feel welcome. I even enjoyed the wait as it’s a peaceful area that is decorated beautifully. Looking forward to many more appointments here. X Read Less

My first visit here yesterday and it truly was the most amazing experience. This boutique is a real gem and I can't wait to go back. I had a Skeyndor skin peel and my skin feels incredible and have now booked in for HD Brows. Having seen their work on Instagram I had high expectations of this place and wasn't disappointed. All of the girls were lovely, kind and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and welcome. I would recommend it to anyone! Read Less

I had an eyebrow wax, a back wax, front wax and arm wax done here. They rushed it quickly because there was another client in just after me. Because of this they rushed my treatment and left patches of hair on my back, arms and boobs and eyebrows. They rushed the treatment so they could fit more clients in so the quality of treatment went down the sewer. Spoke to the manager who blamed me instead, therefore, taking no responsibility for the mess-ups, but instead trying to guilt trip me instead. They also left my eyebrow messed up as getting to the next client was more important for extra $$$ than doing the job properly. Go elsewhere there are better places to get beauty treatments than here. I realise the owner will respond to this and go into damage limitation mode listen to the lady who also had her treatment botched. She like me also had a messed up treatment. Its likely going to be said our therapists do a wonderful job till the next person leaving a bad review posts here and then it goes again. Read Less

After 3 years of having my brows done by the same person away from this salon i finally plucked up courage to go some where else , my eyebrows are wild they grow very quick , in all different directions , they are very tough to but im over the moon with my treatment they are beautiful spot on to how i like them and expected them to look ,the reviews on here are spot on to how the salon/staff are i would def go back x Read Less

Paid double the normal cost for eyelash extensions and they was awful. People I've paid £20 to that are training do a better job! There's so much glue they feel awful and have done since day one. they looked ok but wasn't on properly at all. Really unhappy will never step foot in there again. Read Less

I was extremely nervous about my HD brow appt, as I wanted neat natural brows to match my very light hair colour. I needn't have worried though; I was made to feel at ease straight away, I had a thorough consultation so my consultant knew exactly what I was after and she explained everything she was doing, every step of the way. Lovely surroundings with excellent treatments and professional staff. Not the cheapest by any means but the staff take their time and make you feel completely at ease and ensure you are happy with the results. I have been going to the beauty boutique since 2013 and I have had the majority of the treatments available. I have to say that the service by the ladies is extremely professional and second to none. I regularly have my nails, brows and waxing done here. All of the treatments I have received are completed to a very high standard and top quality products are used. The ladies are more than happy to give advice regarding skin care and make up products which I have taken on aboard and purchased from the boutique without any pressure or sales patter. Plus the products which I was advised to used actually work and that just a testiment to the knowledge and skills the ladies have. Had my first HD Brows appointment here a month ago before going on holiday. Really enjoyable experience & very happy with results! Everything was explained very well both before making the appointment on the phone & during the appointment. I was terrified of walking out with drag queen brows so when I heard the sentence "your makeup's very minimal, so we'll keep your brows minimal" I was relieved!! They were exactly how I wanted, particularly the shape. It was recommended ...I return in 6-8 weeks, which I will, to allow growth to try & improve the natural shape, so I'm starting to look a bit of a mess now, lol, but looking forward to future results! I had my brows done once again by Iyesha who is now the ONLY person I trust with them! Lol! She is so professional and so pleasant whenever I go in to get them done. I also had my nails done by another one of the girls (apologies I can't remember her name) and she was also lovely. It's a gorgeous salon and every one of the girls makes you feel so welcome.
