I've been going here for about 2 months now and every time has been excellent. Most recent was yesterday for a change for my gel polish. LV did a great job on my Christmas red nails. She took her time and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I like my nails super short and she made sure they were just how I wanted them. She also was very nice to get to know and made me feel welcome. They also offer the Jelly pedicure and it was awesome. I'm not sure any other places in the area offer them. Read Less

Right when i walked in, aubree greeted me with a smile and awesome attitude. They brought me back showed me the options and brought the color to match my nails for my toes. I found jrnails after doing a google search looking for someone different from all the other bars who will go that bit extra to give you what you want. Many times I've been to other nail bars around Colchester and felt the nails were never quite as exciting or nice as I had wanted. Plus if I ever wanted crystals or anything they make you feel like you're being a pain and charge loads extra ! Anyway, not with jasmine! Lovely girl and willing to try any new pattern or design you ask for, such care and time went into my nails and not a drill or bleeding cuticle in sight ! This was my second visit to Upscale. The first time my husband and I went for pedis. I decided I wanted to get my nails done as well. Danny did both my mani and pedi. Let me tell you he did an AMAZING job. I am very picky when it comes to my nails. I don't like them thick and when you pay good money for a service you want it done right. While getting my nails done I noticed my heels were still really rough, I mentioned it to Danny and he said don't worry I'll take care of it.... He absolutely did. After my amazing dip nails were complete he took me back to the pedi chair and paid extra special attention to my heels. Great job!! I went back yesterday to have my fills done and requested Danny, I had to wait 20 minutes while he finished another client but it was completely worth it! He did only his second set of pink/white dip for me, granted it took a little extra time but he wanted to make sure it was done really well and I was happy. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and most certainly recommend Danny. He also engages you in conversation which I appreciate. I was looking forward to completely relaxing with a pedicure in a spa chair with a drink while also getting dips put on...my daughter sister and I all went in early Saturday morning was not busy at all....the pedicire was great...as soon as the girl started on my nails she turns off my chair...so no point in having massage chairs.... absolutely the worse nail job I've ever had...and the most expensive....nails were stuck all around my skin ...all lumpy not smooth...just over all horrible ...giving a 2 was generous!!!! My wife and I had fantastic service today on our first visit! We love the owner and her personality and all the techs that helped us provided service with a smile! My wife's previous nail tech that she loved from another location a while back is now working here which is another reason that she is very happy with the service and the salon! After realizing my usual lady wasn't available, I saw the 40% off sign and decided I would give it a try. Natalie greeted me with a big smile!! It was busy but I never felt rushed. Vivian and Tina provided just enough conversation while making me feel like a VIP. My nails and designs are perfect (I have big nail beds). Nails all look like they belong to me!!! hehehe Also, the owner, Lynn, did not hesitate to try to get to know and speak to all of the customers!
