I had just moved to the area and was going to a wedding that weekend. I booked in with the lovely lady at the reception explaining that i wanted a big bouncy blow dry..All booked in! I visited Rocka Salon today for a shape and polish after a nail polish disaster I had at another salon yesterday. Lisa did my nails beautifully and helped me pick a colour as I was so indecisive! They looked amazing and she took the trouble and went out of her way to fit in painting my toe nails for me too even though I wasn't booked in for that. I was over the moon with the results. Had a fabulous experience having a Brazilian blow dry on Saturday. Sian explained the process & aftercare clearly. After washing my hair for the first time post-treatment I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to dry and straighten my hair. Whilst blow drying there was at least 95% less frizz. Straightening was an absolute doddle, much quicker than normal - took at least half the time I would normally! Very impressed and would highly recommend the treatment! Thank you Sian & Rocka!! Been going to these lovely ladies for well over a year, every week to have my unruly hair tamed by Sami and every three for my nails by Gemma or Emma. Can't rate them highly enough, not only are they highly skilled and passionate about what they do, it is always so relaxed, like going and meeting your mates for a coffee and catch up. I wasn't going to write a review but now I'm on honeymoon and my nails haven't even lasted a week, I have a missing thumb nail! Came clean off. I used to have acrylic nails done all the time and never had any problems. They lasted 6 weeks or more until grown out. Gave them the benefit of the doubt as I have seen good work. Although I have been to Rocka before to have my eyebrows done which they completely butchered and went home in tears! Booked myself and my mum in to have n...ails done together before my wedding of which they were quite rude and turned her away for being late. Turned away business in my eyes as I'm sure they could've juggled things around to fit her in. Spent over 2hours having them done, in which time my mum has been to another nail bar and had hers done and came back again. Paid over the odds which I was prepared to do for a good job as it was for one of the most important days of my life!
