I had the SNS nails done about two weeks ago. After 2 days they began to crack. These nails are suppose to last 3-4 weeks. At the two week date they began to start peeling off of my nail. They lied, over charged, and did not listen to what my friend or I wanted. I took my friend and we wanted a basic manicure $15 (per their pricing board). When asked to pick our colors they do not tell you which ones are gel or regular polish. After picking our colors and we both thought it was strange that the 2 manicures were done differently to begin with. When we were checking out I made the mistake of not paying attention to what they charged me. I gave a tip and walked out when it hit me they charged me $70 for 2 basic manicures. When I went in to ask they said it was because we did gel polish. We told them at the beginning we wanted basic. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail place. I went in for a fill in on my acrylic set. No one greeted me at all! Since no one was around I decided to pick out my color and once I did I sat and waited. About 5 minutes later someone came out and said "go over there" and pointed to his station. Once we sat down he looked at my nails as I was saying to him that I needed a fill and wanted them to be cut down. After I informed him what I wanted he said t...hat he HAD to use gel color on my nails. I informed him I didn't want Gel color on my nails. The 3rd time he was trying to convince me that he needed to use Gel Color I asked why? His response, "The color lasts longer." I asked how much does it cost and he informed me with a fill it would be $32. I said, I want a fill and normal OPI color that I picked. I've never had an issue with my color lasting so there is not a reason for me to pay extra for it to "last longer." The fill in was ok, but not the greatest. The color was done poorly. There was color all over the sides of my fingers. Unfortunately, this was a very bad first impression. For someone who has worn acrylic on and off for 20 years I can say this was the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. It's a shame too because all the other reviews seem to be good. I asked for short oval nails. I got medium length square nails with the edges rounded off. Some are thicker than others, some aren't blended into my cuticles and they weren't the same lengths.I have acrylic under my nails, I have acrylic on my cuticle and on the sides of my nails.
