I visited the salon for the first time this afternoon. I have had beauty treatments before at other salons and read wonderful reviews about this salon and the staff members being so friendly so I was looking forward to it. I booked in for "Party lashes" and a spray tan. I cannot fault the spray tan, it is beautiful, even and a gorgeous colour. However, when I rang up to discuss the "Party lashes" I made it very clear I was looking for big, dramatic, thick, long eyelashes that... were "Party style" and the eyelashes I had done today were quite pretty but extremely natural and I feel I could have done a better job myself with the individual eyelash extension kits you can get in boots. The lady who did my treatments wasn't very friendly and I didn't get offered a drink or anything the whole time I was there and wasn't asked at any point if I was ok or wanted/needed anything. She wasn't interested in me or what I am doing this weekend and I felt anxious and intimidated like I was taking up her time and she didn't enjoy doing my treatments. I came here Saturday for HD eyebrows and couldn't be happier with the result. It was the first time I have had this treatment done, aswel as the first time I have been to the salon. ALWAYS a warm, friendly welcome at this bright, clean and professional salon. Have had my cashmere lashes done for about 12 months after "upgrading" from regular lashes that I first had after an offer on groupon. LOVE THEM. Awful awful awful. Ihad booked in for a bouncy blow dry at 12:15 especially for my birthday. I called at 10:00am on the day to confirm everything to be told they had mistakenly put my appointment in for 9:00am that day instead of 12:15. Being my birthday celebration you would think they would at least squeeze me in for a blow dry, but instead to be told they wasn't able to do anything and I will just have to use else where.. Being a Saturday, you can imagine how hard it is to find an available slot else where. I am also a regular customer here and use them on an on-going basis however, due to today's events I will no longer stay loyal to this salon and will never recommend anyone to book in unless you want to be unexpectedly let down on the day.
