My partner had an appointment booked to have a dry cut yesterday... She received an email confirmation of her appointment, but when she arrived at the shop, it was closed, with a handwritten note stuck in the window to that effect. She went back today, and not only did she not receive an apology for the inconvenience caused, the staff on duty really couldn't have been any less interested... They simply offered "well you can book next week if you want?" To top it all, she's ju...st received another email asking "Are you ready for your next appointment?" - no, she's not, and never will be - she's now had her hair done elsewhere, and will continue to do so. Not a good haircut. I asked for my long hair to be layered, to lift it at the crown and give shape. Think the classic "Rachel". The same haircut I've had in many salons. What I got was layers in the bottom couple of inches (on hair well past the shoulders), and classic lampshade. I asked to get the (lack of) layers and shape corrected and she gave me a rushed, blocky, uneven layer half way up. I'll be wearing my hair up until I can get it cut properly somewhere else - it's bad enough to be embarrassing. It's a shame because the salon was nice, the location was convenient, the staff were friendly enough and the parking was free - if the haircut had been even passable I would have definitely used them again. Amazing service today, my son (20 months) got himself worked up as soon as we walked in yet the staff remained calm and cut his hair whilst I stood holding him. Even going the extra mile and more to keep him entertained, didnt make me feel awful for having a screaming child and massively impressed with his cut. Will definitely be recommending!! Read Less

Had my hair cut and highlighted by Shania Tuesday, not only do I love my hair (and I am extremely protective of my hair) but I was overwhelmed with the high level of service my partner and I received! Everything was explained as it was done, we were continuously asked if we were happy with our hair or if we wanted anything corrected, constantly offered drinks and overall the Care and attention that was shown to us was outstanding!
