These people are very racist
These people are very racist. I was wrong to think racism doesn't exist in England anymore. We called to book an appointment and Jenny (the chinese woman) booked us in. Upon arrival, she insisted my girlfriend pays before she could touch her nails and then went off to attend to another customer who is white and an upfront payment was not required. This made us very upset that we had to ask questions, and all she could say was that customers in the past had gotten away without payments, basically stereotyping us. There was this other Chinese guy in the shop and he was also very rude and asked us to leave. I will not recommend SILK NAILS, I hope your business FAILS.

The man who does nails at Silk is so rude!! He really needs to work on his customer service skills. The overall quality of the manicure was also extremely bad. I won’t be going back to be spoken to like that again and my nails look terrible.

I had a pedicure with Shellac and full set of acrylics with Shellac about a month ago and put it this way I won't ever be going back there. The man who did my pedicure was so rough he was digging out the nail on my big toe as I had a slight ingrown toe nail.....i was in agony. He then disappeared out the back for ages and when he came back he only took dead skin off one foot. When it came to doing my nails he did them in 20 minutes and he was so rough pulling my hand and hurting my fingers and he was rushing. The end result was disgusting they looked like blobs on my nails. All he wanted was the money and I spent a lot in there that day. After seeing a few friends and them seeing my nails they said I should go back and demand they be 're done free of charge as it had only been 5 days and they were already growing out from the cuticle........ so I did but he wasn't happy he had to do them again and he even managed to get them wrong again he painted them a different colour to my feet and I wanted the same and again he rushed them and was pulling my fingers and bending them. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T GO TO AMERICAN SILK NAILS TO GET NAILS/OR PEDICURES......THEY ARE OUTRAGEOUS 😠😠😠😠

I wouldn't go anywhere else .these guys Danny and Jenny are amazing .my nails have been done by them for.years and are fantastic especially for.my wedding. Nice shape always perfect amd.last ages .bes...

Worst set of acrylic nails I have ever had. The man who did them was rough pulling and pushing my hands and burned me with the tool several times. He did a full set in 20 minutes which usually takes an hour and the final result was awful. Nails are pointing upwards at the ends as if they're about to ping off at any moment. Do not recommeand as there are plenty of great nail places nearby.

Another lady was having her feet done the same time they used the electric drill to remove dead skin off bottom of feet then used it on other lady without sterilising it how many people are beind contaminated

These people are very racist
These people are very racist. I was wrong to think racism doesn't exist in England anymore. We called to book an appointment and Jenny (the chinese woman) booked us in. Upon arrival, she insisted my girlfriend pays before she could touch her nails and then went off to attend to another customer who is white and an upfront payment was not required. This made us very upset that we had to ask questions, and all she could say was that customers in the past had gotten away without payments, basically stereotyping us. I had a pedicure with Shellac and full set of acrylics with Shellac about a month ago and put it this way I won't ever be going back there. The man who did my pedicure was so rough he was digging out the nail on my big toe as I had a slight ingrown toe nail.....i was in agony. He then disappeared out the back for ages and when he came back he only took dead skin off one foot. When it came to doing my nails he did them in 20 minutes and he was so rough pulling my hand and hurting my fingers and he was rushing.
