I visited the Tranquil rooms yesterday with my daughter for the first time for nail extensions, acrylic dip and gel polish and sadly to my disappointment we will not be back. I could tell straight away that the nail technician was nervous doing my nails, her hands were shaking( Although a lovely lady), i could tell that she was unsure of what she was doing. Firstly once the extensions were attached and filed to size, she did not check if both hands were the same size, i kn...ew they were not but i didnt want to upset her and i kept a positive mind. Secondly after applying the gel and acrylic dip and cure, it was very noticable that my nail surface were very lumpy and uneven. I mentioned this to the technician and the lady doing my daughters nail came over and said the lumps would disappear when they applied the gel polish, which i replied, no it wont. So this technician started to file the lumps with an electric file. It improved my nails a little but they didnt look even at all. After this, the original technician started applying the gel polish, again she was very nervous and both coats were very thick and not evenly spread. I was so disappointed at this stage, i just wanted to leave because i didnt have the heart to upset the technician. When my daughter and i went to pay, the technician said to me, just give me £25, and my daughter was charged £30. I really felt for the technician, i know she tried her best. But sadly i was left with uneven surface, thick, different sized nails. I went straight to boots and bought polish and went home and filed the polish off and evened out the gel/acrylic dip and repolished them with normal gel. I would highly recommend to anyone considering to have what i attempted to have at the Tranqil rooms to go somewhere else. See More Read Less
