Atrocious customer service skills from all of the staff including the owner, they care more about money than they do about customer satisfaction. My gel nails lasted only 5 days before they started chipping, peeling back and turning dark in colour. When I took this up with the staff and owner I was told that they had been given 'professional opinions' and the verdict was that I must have dyed my own hair or been in contact with black dye and that I must have been very hard on my nails for them to chip, neither of these things are true. The owner then proceed to ask me questions like 'what do you work as?' 'Are you in college?' 'What are you studying?', obviously searching for something to blame the poor quality gel nails on but to no avail. During my conversation on the phone with the owner she continually spoke over the top of me. The owner asked me to come in to the salon where I was then spoken to in a condescending manner by the owner and a staff member, the owner further quizzed me about dying my hair and then proceeded to tell me it was my fault. They were unwilling to fix the problem as they claimed it was my fault, to add insult to injury I was then asked did I want to pay for a new set which of course I politely declined. I have stupidly been giving this salon my custom for nearly a year now and my mum has been a customer there for several years neither of us will return. Also, the decor is tacky. Read Less

Got my finger + toes gell nails done, lashes and an eyebrow wax with the lovely Marta this morning. She done an excellent job, I'm so impressed I'll be return. I've been coming to the beauty studio for longer than I care to admit. I always get a warm welcome, professional service and excellent treatments (and believe me I've been through them all)! Off to the Beauty Studio again in the morning. The very skilled Laura has been doing my nails for coming up 7 years now and she just does the most amazing job....such a perfectionist. I am constantly receiving complimentary comments about my nails. The Beauty Studio is one of Carrickfergus' longest established beauty salons, and in my opinion, one of the best!The offer so much more than the standard salon; despite being absolute professionals at nails (I've personally never had anywhere that's done my nails better!) they also offer more high-end services, such as microblading, semi permanent makeup, and dermica facelifts.The staff here are all highly experienced and personable, and the salon is a great location to spend time in while having your treatment!
