Went to see Gemma for my makeup after seeing how beautifully she did my friends. I was not disappointed! She is extremely good at what she does and is so laid back, even with my fidgeting she was so patient. The Nail Bar, I have never heard of psoriasis being a problem in health and safety guidelines. Could you please PM these to me? I am a tattoo artist of over 11 years, I work in Australia and though the guidelines are different here... I can assure you they are a lot stricter here. I am not sure where you or they got your information on psoriasis from but they are in NO way contagious. In fact it's absolutely no different than you cutting nails or a hairdresser dealing with s...omeone with dandruff. In fact if I was in your shoes I would be making a client with psoriasis feel as welcome if not more and make sure that they walked out feeling the best that they possibly could, because as a sufferer aswell I know exactly how people feel. I wear a hat every day because it affects my scalp quite bad, to the point where I am actually getting bald patches from it. I am embarrassed to go to the hairdressers or barbers... but I can assure you every single time I have been there I have not been treated any different from anyone else in there and if anyone does mention it, they offer their advice from other clients experience or from their experience with clients. I have walked out feeling good about it EVERY SINGLE TIME. Never would I turn away tattooing a woman with mastectomy scars just because I don't like scars, nor would I turn away anyone with psoriasis because I know it won't heal properly. In fact I would explain this to them, then I would do the tattoo, and make sure they walked out of the studio feeling the best they had all week, and you never know, they might even feel good for a month. Not only do I think what you have done is wrong on a personal level, I do think what you have done is legally wrong, and I really hope that legal action is taken because I am certain that she is very much entitled to.
