I’ve just seen a review for Pamela’s Hairdressing and I just have to say it’s a very unfair statement.Ive tried quite a few Hairdressers in Callington,But was never happy with the cuts or Hairstyling and travelled to Plymouth to have my Hair done.When Pam started work at the Beauty Arcade I made an appointment and never looked back.Shes got lots of experience and she’s great with Hair and colour.The best Hairdresser I’ve come across and that’s including one of the top Hairdressers in Plymouth.You won’t be disappointed. Bloody ridiculous! Came here to get my nails done, they made a right mess of them! Still lumpy not filed down! That's not the only bad experience I've had though, used to come here for an eyebrow wax regularly and the woman waxed half of one off! Disappointed! Don't recommend going here. Read Less

Such a welcoming and friendly environment as soon as you walk in till the minute you leave. The staff are fantastic as well as their services. I come in regularly to get my nails done, and wouldn't go anywhere else, absolutely 5*! I always book my appointments to have Tasha, knows exactly what I like, as she, and all the other staff are more than willing to actually get to know their customers, and become friends with them. The manager, Emma, always takes time to talk to her customers (including me) and I know for a fine fact she is great friends with all her employs and is overall a fantastic manager! Read Less

I've been going to The Beauty Arcade for over two years now for both beauty and hair. They are fantastic - so friendly and very professional. I see Flora for eyebrow tinting and shellac nails and Erica for hair cuts and colour. They are both excellent and do a brilliant job every time. I've not been apart of the beauty arcade team for very long, but in this short time I already feel apart of the family as it is like home. All the girls are so down to earth n lovely n the best thing about it all is, we all have the same thing in common, we are all here to please n make our clients happy! There are number one! there the ones who we have to look after from the minute they book there appointment n walk through the door until where helping them with there coat to leave, there are only concern they have our full attention!! AVOID HI BROWS at this establishment - ive just returned from collecting my 16 year old from this establishment to find her in floods of tears.  she wanted to have her eyebrows slightly tidied up after  growing them for 6 months into a really lovely shape that needed very little attention.  she asked for HI brows in the style of Cara Delvine (heavy natural look).  When the beautician advised my daughter she didn't know who this was instead of seeking advice or looking online (and who has not got instant access to the internet these days) she made the decision to pluck and tint my daughter eyebrows into thin uneven shapes and then stain them dark, making them look completely drawn in.  Apologies were made, the tint stripped and a full refund given BUT that doesn't help when its going to take another 6 months to grow them back to a reasonable shape.  to add insult to injury she will now have to face spiteful remarks from her peer group, just what she needs. 3 hours later shes still crying poor thing.  I would suggest that if the beautician didn't know what the client was after then she should not have opted to do her own interpretation....REALLY ANGRY!!!
