I had an amazing experience at nailco last week! My nails were done by Emma who was so patient and lovely and really listened to what I wanted - my nails turned out gorgeous! Molly on reception was amazing, i was early for my appointment so had a wee wait and she kept me entertained and made sure I was comfortable throughout - amazing girls!! Wouldn't go anywhere else now x

I usually pay £18 to have my gels removed and replaced and i have never had any complaint or concern with the service i receive for that price. NailCo was recommended by a friend. She said it would only be a couple of pounds more expensive and that the salon was great. The place looked very stylish and modern on arrival. I had plenty of time to take it all in as I waited 15mins past my appointment time. I am not much of a small talker, so spent my appointment time just liste...ning to the shop manager and a the colleague beside her talking about another member of staff. It was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I was then charged £34, which is the most I have ever been charged for such a small service. I queried the price and was advised that they charge for removal now, and that the prices had gone up because they had reached their tax threshold. When I got back to work and looked at my new gels there was glitter in among the topcoat sporadically on a few fingers, whole areas of some nails with no topcoat and others with so much topcoat it was cured on to my fingers. Not one of the nails is by any means flawless. Drags or bumps on each one. I can still also see the old gel polish left along the cuticle and sides of my fingers on both hands. I called the shop back and spoke to the manager. I explained the mess that my nails were in and said I wanted a refund. She told me that they didn't do refunds but if i went back she'd fix them for me. My better judgement told me to chalk it up to a bad experience. I would have happily paid more than my usual price for an excellent experience and a quality outcome but I got neither. My advice to the salon would be firstly to pay more attention to the customer sitting in front of you and leave problems with the performance of your staff to discuss in their appraisals, and secondly, until you master the art of gel nail removal and re -application maybe lower your prices to match the quality of the work you deliver on. I fully accept that every customer is different and going by the other reviews on here I am in the minority, but consistency and professionalism is vital in your business, and I will not return to or recommend NailCo in future. Also, a final point, normally when a business increase their prices by over 25% in one go, there would be some kind of signage or notification on the premises to let their patrons know. The friend who recommended this place to me had paid £22 for the same service last month. See More

My first time at the nail bar and will certainly be back. Emma C gave me nude coffin shaped acrylics with some glitter and it looks amaze! So simple but so nice! She knew exactly what I wanted when i wasn’t being very descriptive. Emma is wonderful!! The nail bar is full of positivity and everyone chatting away to each other. Loved it! didn’t want to leave, can I get a job with yous! Xxx

After having one of the most disappointing nail appointments in another salon in the city I decided to give Nail co a go since I have only recently moved to Glasgow and wanted to find a salon up to the standard I am used to at home and I have to say my experience was great today. The girls are friendly and chatty and are so clued in to all things nails.. .great service all round! My nails look fab. Thanks ladies. You now have a returning customer x

Unfortunately I cannot comment on how good they are as I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for 6th March and phoned to query it as there has been a price increase only to hear they didn’t have any note of my appointment at all. I spoke to Jayd (who needs a course in customer care) who I felt all but called me a liar as they have a state of the art appointment system that doesn’t delete appointments, so it was down to me to prove that I had actually phoned them. The email Jayd sent me had a screenshot of my appointment which had me labelled as complaint - which I think is totally unfair as if I hadn’t phoned to query I would have turned up on the day with no appointment. A very unprofessional way to treat a customer so I would not recommend at all.

Appointment was 30 minutes late ( I understand these things happen) but i had to ask twice was there an issue before i was advised i'd be seen asap and not by the original artist i'd booked with. The staff failed to apprehend a drunken client who's behaviour was vulgar, intimidating and was dictating the entire mood of the salon. On top of this my artist was shuffled on mid service leaving another to finish my nails. I am beyond disappointed as i had been waiting weeks to go here to try the nail bar of the year, safe to say i will not be back

I’ve been here a few times now and all the girls are so lovely and chatty with whoever you get. Had my nails done by JoJo yesterday as a last minute appointment and so in love with my nails. She was so funny, lovely and professional. I love this salon, the staff are so friendly and professional and above all very good at what they do! Had my nails done by Kelly and she did a fabulous job. It may seem a bit pricey in comparison to other ‘get in, get out’ nail bars but the quality of the nails and the whole experience is far superior! This will be my go to salon from now on xxx

My nail tech had a bumpy start to my appointment due to unfortunate encounter with the stairs however the salon were very professional and managed well. In any ordinary circumstance my appointment would have been cancelled but they got another tech to start until my orignal was able to come back and she did. My nails were in poor shape before and came out with a great looking set. Only feedback would say would be perhaps a little more thorough consultation rather than hande...d a swatch of colour pops and left to choose and had to repeat this a couple of times wasn't looking for a full nail colour. Had booked in for sculpted and she was going to put tips on until I corrected. I felt as though she tried to talk me out of this choice however happily was able to do. I’ve been to Nailco three times now and everytime i have left loving my nails! They have so much colours and different designs to choose from and i enjoy looking at their instagram for inspiration (which is updated daily). Its not just my nails i love, its the whole experience - being welcomed in by all the lovely staff as well as all the little added extras, for example the option of having a glass of fizz whilst getting your nails done! Love it! I have got my nails done twice by Gemma Mcleod and shes fab! Would defiantly recommend getting your nails done here!

I was in here recently and absolutely loved it! Inside is so professional and studying, plus the staff were so friendly! I really enjoyed getting me gel nails done by Rebecca, we chatted for the whole time and it was so relaxing.There were many colours and designs to choose from and my nails lasted for more than 2 weeks which I was impressed with. Will be coming here again as they do a two for one onTuesdays, so will be bringing my sister with me would highly recommend!!

I had a great time when I arrived for my appointment here, my nail technician Becca was really nice and chatty, very helpful in assisting me to pick out the perfect colour and style to match my outfit for a party. The bar itself has obviously been updated and everything is sleek and shiny, I only wish that all members of staff had come across as warm as she was? My nails turned out really nice and lasted for ages which I was impressed with. Will definitely be back if I can get booked in with Becca again.

I’d seen this nail salon before walking about Glasgow but never had bothered to visit before. But then I saw them online and was blown away with the nail designs so I wanted to see for myself! Upon arrival I was welcomed warmly and was seen to very quickly since I had an appointment. The girl who did my nails was super friendly and I could tell that was a theme of the salon! Also with the new look everything was just so clean and new so I knew my nails would be looking just as good, and so they where. I walked out with a beautiful set of gels that lasted me ages!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous quality nail.

I've been going to Jennifer (newly christened boss lady Jen ;)) regularly for gel polish and acrylics for years now and she's an absolute star! Even if you are in all the time she isn't complacent and takes such care to ensure you're 100% happy with shape and colour after every single visit. They have a huge range of colours and glitters etc and my nails are always flawless so I wouldn't go anywhere else. All of the girls are lovely so you also have such a good laugh while you're there. Would highly recommend! x

I've been going to Nailzone Hope Street for over 3 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Jennifer is a genius! My nails always last perfectly (more impressive given my job) and she's brilliant at coming up with ideas of colours I'll love every fortnight because I can never choose myself. I have been getting my nails done by Jennifer for the past few years and it's safe to say I wouldn't get them done anywhere else. She is very talented and always helps when it comes down to colours and designs for my nails and very patient when I can't decide because there is so many colours. I am always very happy with my acrylics. I would highly recommend Jennifer as she is an amazing nail technician and my experiences in the salon have been brilliant

I have been going to Jennifer for over a year. We come up with ideas together and I always have different nails every month which I love! The staff are all friendly and the salon is welcoming. I love Jennifer's nails because they last. I type or write everyday and still keep my acrylics on for four weeks. I wouldn't go anywhere else but nail zone. The technicians are also so good at shaping the nail you can see the quality and expertise. Once you've had good nails from Nail Zone you'll never go anywhere else.

I have been going to the salon for over a year. Always fantastic service from the girls. Can't recommend Jennifer's work enough. She is amazing and accommodates any requests you have with any designs you want. She has encouraged me to be more experimental with colours etc and her work is excellent. Won't go anywhere else's to get my nails done. Atmosphere in the salon is brilliant.

I've been getting regular gel polish manicures here for years and am always delighted with them - Jennifer shapes my nails perfectly and is quick and professional. They have an impressive range of colours and the gel polish always lasts at least 2 weeks. They also do great promotions on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I would highly recommend this place and I never go anywhere else.

My nail tech had a bumpy start to my appointment due to unfortunate encounter with the stairs however the salon were very professional and managed well. In any ordinary circumstance my appointment would have been cancelled but they got another tech to start until my orignal was able to come back and she did. My nails were in poor shape before and came out with a great looking set. Only feedback would say would be perhaps a little more thorough consultation rather than hande...d a swatch of colour pops and left to choose and had to repeat this a couple of times wasn't looking for a full nail colour. Had booked in for sculpted and she was going to put tips on until I corrected. I felt as though she tried to talk me out of this choice however happily was able to do. Overall still very happy and minor blips and looking forward to coming back where I have booked in to have them done. Thank you. See More

I’ve been to Nailco three times now and everytime i have left loving my nails! They have so much colours and different designs to choose from and i enjoy looking at their instagram for inspiration (which is updated daily). Its not just my nails i love, its the whole experience - being welcomed in by all the lovely staff as well as all the little added extras, for example the option of having a glass of fizz whilst getting your nails done! Love it! I have got my nails done twice by Gemma Mcleod and shes fab! Would defiantly recommend getting your nails done here!

I was in here recently and absolutely loved it! Inside is so professional and studying, plus the staff were so friendly! I really enjoyed getting me gel nails done by Rebecca, we chatted for the whole time and it was so relaxing.There were many colours and designs to choose from and my nails lasted for more than 2 weeks which I was impressed with. Will be coming here again as they do a two for one onTuesdays, so will be bringing my sister with me would highly recommend!!

I had a great time when I arrived for my appointment here, my nail technician Becca was really nice and chatty, very helpful in assisting me to pick out the perfect colour and style to match my outfit for a party. The bar itself has obviously been updated and everything is sleek and shiny, I only wish that all members of staff had come across as warm as she was? My nails turned out really nice and lasted for ages which I was impressed with. Will definitely be back if I can get booked in with Becca again.

I’d seen this nail salon before walking about Glasgow but never had bothered to visit before. But then I saw them online and was blown away with the nail designs so I wanted to see for myself! Upon arrival I was welcomed warmly and was seen to very quickly since I had an appointment. The girl who did my nails was super friendly and I could tell that was a theme of the salon! Also with the new look everything was just so clean and new so I knew my nails would be looking just as good, and so they where. I walked out with a beautiful set of gels that lasted me ages!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous quality nail.

I've been going to Jennifer (newly christened boss lady Jen ;)) regularly for gel polish and acrylics for years now and she's an absolute star! Even if you are in all the time she isn't complacent and takes such care to ensure you're 100% happy with shape and colour after every single visit. They have a huge range of colours and glitters etc and my nails are always flawless so I wouldn't go anywhere else. All of the girls are lovely so you also have such a good laugh while you're there. Would highly recommend! x

I've been going to Nailzone Hope Street for over 3 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Jennifer is a genius! My nails always last perfectly (more impressive given my job) and she's brilliant at coming up with ideas of colours I'll love every fortnight because I can never choose myself. I have been getting my nails done by Jennifer for the past few years and it's safe to say I wouldn't get them done anywhere else. She is very talented and always helps when it comes down to colours and designs for my nails and very patient when I can't decide because there is so many colours. I am always very happy with my acrylics. I would highly recommend Jennifer as she is an amazing nail technician and my experiences in the salon have been brilliant

I have been going to Jennifer for over a year. We come up with ideas together and I always have different nails every month which I love! The staff are all friendly and the salon is welcoming. I love Jennifer's nails because they last. I type or write everyday and still keep my acrylics on for four weeks. I wouldn't go anywhere else but nail zone. The technicians are also so good at shaping the nail you can see the quality and expertise. Once you've had good nails from Nail Zone you'll never go anywhere else.

I have been going to the salon for over a year. Always fantastic service from the girls. Can't recommend Jennifer's work enough. She is amazing and accommodates any requests you have with any designs you want. She has encouraged me to be more experimental with colours etc and her work is excellent. Won't go anywhere else's to get my nails done. Atmosphere in the salon is brilliant.

I've been getting regular gel polish manicures here for years and am always delighted with them - Jennifer shapes my nails perfectly and is quick and professional. They have an impressive range of colours and the gel polish always lasts at least 2 weeks. They also do great promotions on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I would highly recommend this place and I never go anywhere else.
