My visit to this salon was such a lovely experience, if I could give 10* I would. As a salon owner myself, i find it really hard when going elsewhere to switch off, relax and be pampered. Well this was a real treat for me. It was amazing from the minute I walked through the door to the minute I left. The salon standards were really high, every detail to attention and customer service excellent. Using the most quality brands. The knowledge, skill and experience by Bonita wa...s second to none. There are so many lovely touches about his hidden gem that I could comment on, before I even begin to tell you how wonderful my treatment was!!! I had a dermaplane facial with Bonita. I was so looking forward to giving my skin an overhaul after the winter months and WOW that was what I got. My skin feels & looks amazing from 1 treatment (now booked again for 6 weeks time & cant wait!!) and surprisingly, I felt very relaxed and pampered even though this is a 'treatment' facial and not designed to make you fall asleep! It was so thorough and much more to the treatment than I imagined, my skin has not felt this good in years. Overall an amazing experience with very high standards. 'A home from home' experience. After a really stressful few weeks it was time for my Crystal Clear facial, have wanted one for such a long time and finally got round to it! It is visually beautiful as is the atmosphere which is made by Rachel&Bonita..it's a very intimate salon but in a really good way. Go up the stairs into the main area and beyond that there are other treatment rooms.. all glitzy but very tasteful..this salon has style! I have known Rachel for many years so I knew without a doubt I would be in safe hands! RESULT=MOST CHILLED I HAVE FELT IN YEARS and my skin was and is visibly cleaner/clearer! Been wanting to try the beauty lounge out for months for eyebrow waxing threading.i was travelling to prescot to get it done and aren't very good with change so I bit the bullet today and thought no more travelling just go down the road! The salon is beautiful!u really do go into an oasis of glitter and sparkle and I felt very excited to be honest,Rebecca/Rachel (so sorry can't remember her name so sorry)took me into a private room and started to thread my eyebrows.i explaine...d how I was not happy with the previous business I had been going as my eyebrows were going thin.through talking I asked what was better threading or waxing and she advised waxing.i followed her advise and she switched from threading to waxing and reassured me she would shape them properly.within minutes it was all done and I have to say I'm made up! They look the best I ve had. So,I've switched no more travelling to have eyebrows threaded to death ending up with nothing and today feel beautiful! Only £6.50 too. Had an hour and a half pedicure as my feet suffer from being on them all day and all I can say is they have never felt so good afterwards ! And the choice of shellac is so hard to choose from and look great when done !!! 5 days on and still feel amazing ! I have visited The Nailbase & Beautylounge two times now. Bon is very warm and welcoming and you feel completely at ease as soon as you step through the door. Rachel did a fantastic job of my shellac nails and took time to work with my ideas. Today they squeezed me in for a last minute spray tan with the new Moroccan Tan. I absolutely love coming here- spent a few hours here today having shellac nails and Derma planing - nails are always amazing but have to day the results of derma Planing are incredible ! Having suffered acne Rosacea for a number of years, I wouldn't leave the house with no makeup - 4 treatments in and I'm a complete convert ! The treatment is super relaxing and so satisfying (and a bit gross) to see all of the 'debris ' on the black towel at the end . My face literally felt... so relaxed afterwards - I went shopping today make up free and was complimented on my complexion . Honestly I thought my skin would Always be bad having reached 36 and been a total sun worshipper but this treatment is is amazing - to have someone say to me my skin was flawless was something I thought I'd never hear.
