Had a back neck and shoulder massage, my shoulders are very stiff and difficult to massage but I left with them feeling more relaxed for sure. Gave me lots of good advice for how to relax them better at home and will be back in a few weeks for another one. Had massage on Friday and was surprised when I got to my appointment early and found a sign on the door advising if I had arrived early I would need to come back at my alloted time. It so happened that my therapist had finished with her last client and let me in. She advised I could wait.upstairs whilst she was finishing with her client. I was then shown in a room upstairs and just asked if I had any allergies or problems with any "areas". No consultation was done or nothin...g to sign. Waited ages for therapist to come back in after I got undressed and then had my massage. My appointment was at 11.30 and was getting dressed by 12.10 when treatment advertised as 55 mins?! Heard other therapists outside chatting and having conversations whilst treatment going on. Felt rushed at the end. Glass of water presented to me whilst I was paying and almost ushered out of the door. I had an ESPA Tension Release Head, Neck and Shoulder massage and have been in immense pain since. I have since visited the doctors and they have confirmed that my shoulder has been aggravated due to the massage. I made them aware of this and they offered me £10 off my next treatment which I thought was ridiculous! Also if you are expecting your head to actually be massaged then don’t as apparently that isn’t part of the massage even though it is called an ESPA Tension Release Head, Neck and Shoulder massage as described in their brochure. Absolute amateurs! Should have stuck with Burghley Academy rather than going for a cheaper alternative. Read Less

After a bad experience through another beauty spa on curling my eyelashes, I decided to visit The beautiful Truth. Nervous of the outcome Annalisa immediately put me at ease, talked me through the process and stayed with me throughout treatment. It's was brilliant, such a different and relaxing experience, I didn't even feel the products on my eyes and no stinging! The most gorgeous pedicure was done for me and as a therapist I appreciate it so so much!! Right from the first minute of meeting her, I felt instantly comfortable and she was absolutely lovely in the whole treatment!- especially the scrub and massage MY FAVE!! ... We had a dilemma choosing colours but she put me right and went for a gorgeous red which looked lovely!! I just wanted to say how wonderful she was and what a fantastic therapist you have on your team.. She really is a fab girl and have me fabulous feet!! Unfortunately my wife had a rather disappointing visit, firstly she had a "deep tissue massage" which was not really delivered correctly by the very young massuse, we have had many massages from all over the world and this one was not really professionally delevered. I also booked a manicure for her and once again this was not delivered in a professional manner, my wife asked after 10 minutes when the manicure stopped if that was it, and inquired about further treatment the girl said that she did not need it ! never mind that we had paid up front for both full services. If I were to have paid on completion of these treatments I do not think that I would have. Therefore unfortunately I cannot recommend this establishment to any of my friends. Read Less

The staff here are very professional and friendly. I have had a couple of massages here, both of which were the best i've had. My mother in law has also had her eyebrows tattoed and they look incredible. A friend also went for a mum to be massage and thoroughly enjoyed that too! I had a massage which was really nice and the lady was really professional and made me feel totally at ease. I returned later in the month to give lash extensions a go and have to admit was delighted with the result and how they looked however I did expect them to last a little longer than what they did. I had individual lashes and just under 2 weeks and most of them have come out despite following instructions.
