Once again something's been wrong. I asked for acrylics and ended up getting gel. Not sure why. Also cut my nails too short and changed the shape. Having to go to another nail place straight away to get them fixed as they were rude about changing them. Read Less

Terrible. I used to be a regular and they used to be Good! But lately I have been using them and I would not recommend, they told me to book an appointment and I still waited 45mins after my appointment I paid £25 pounds and exactly 5 days after getting my nails done they started snapping even though I wasent at work or doing anything. I had been before about a year ago as it was my first time and they were perfect. After i got them done today im a little upset. They have already started to lift and it was very rushed by the lady. I still have bits sticking into my finger that she didnt file down properly. Also they just generally look rushed. Not impressed. Also she was lovely and said i few things to me but i would appreciate them not talking in their own language infront of customers as i find it rude because they made me feel uncomfortable and i didnt want to mention anything to her as i would have had to inturrupt her conversation. Made an appointment for 11:15am as I had to be somewhere for 12:30pm (plenty of time,) arrived and was asked to choose my colour which I did. Waited until 11:45am after at least 5 people went ahead of me without appointments. I asked the receptionist who said it would be 5 minutes. Got seen at 12:00pm and had a picture on my phone with two colours I had chosen and asked the technician which one she thought was best- she said neither and suggested a top coat very slightly pink... but basically clear (the picture was of pink nails) she said she would layer it up so it was more pink. Anyway she just did the two standard coats and left it!! By this time it was nearing 12:30pm so didn't have time to complain but my nails looked like just the acrylic with nothing on top so had to go home and paint them myself so annoyed because in the beauty industry you have to stick to appointments and if they don't want to do that then they shouldn't take appointments!! Because 0 Star Isn't An Option! Went To Dv yesterday said I wanted long pointy Nails When She was Cutting Them She Asked what length when I Showed Her What length That Was She cut How She Felt! Because Long Nails Break Easily She Stated. I was in the salon a half hour - 45 mins Including the drying time!! My nails were all odd shaped and wonky I have never been so rushed. I was so upset I just asked for them to be taken off but manager smiled at me really sarcastic and said ...he would take them off but give me no refund so I'd basically pay them to have disaster nails then come out with no nails at all!!! The lady was very rude she did not want to be there at all and was also unbelievable rough filing my nails she made two of my fingers bleed because of this! I was a regular customer was always happy with the results of my nails but the new lady and how the manager spoke to me has completely put me off I will never use their services again and can I just say the receptionist is a kind polite girl always have been to me and my little boy when others have no manners at all!!! I've been a regular customer for the past 2 years, last Tuesdays I went to get my infills done and replace a nail. After a week the nail I've replaced broke and I went in the following Thursday to get it sorted, the customer service was appalling and a junior had redone it. I've tried to be polite and make conversation with the girl asking if she's just started and if she enjoys it but I'm return she rudely ignored me and started talking to her colleague in their language. ... After she finished the nail it was too short and wonky so I've asked her to even it out. The girl stood up and the boss sat down and very aggressively started pulling my hand and while she fixed it. At the end of the service the boss started screaming at me in front of all the staff and clients saying that they're happy to fix my nails but never to offend one of their staff again by calling them a junior. I'm absolutely speechless, the way they treat their clients is disgusting and I'll never step foot in one of their salons again !! my friend went there and after 3 hours of having her nails done the white and the purple and even the glitter started to go yellow when we messaged them to tell them. they refused a refund and said they would repaint them when she went back they refused to repaint them after saying they would. so they clean them and but a new top coat on the new top coat has gone all bobbly and starting to go yellow again I was going to go and have mine done there think I will go somewhere else. I showed the lady a pic of my nails and how I wanted them and she cut them too short despite me telling her where to cut them the first time but she didn't understand so ended cutting them so short. She was also extremely rude mannered so I didn't feel comfortable to say anything at the time. I then phoned back and told the lady on reception who can I just say is LOVELY! ...and she said it's fine...come back as... you've got to love how you have your nails! I came back 10 mins later. The receptionist once again the loveliest person ever but the manager on the other hand also slightly rude and refused to redo my nails unless I paid for a full set with a bit of discount....what a joke. This isn't the first time this has happened to me either! I am so upset and disappointed with my nails that I'm going to choose a different nail salon and d and v have lost out on a loyal customer all because they 'can't be arsed' to fix their mistakes. (It was made out to be my mistake apparently according to the manager) Half the people working there are lovely and the other half are rude, ignorant and seem to lack basic manners. I normally go to Nail design but for the past two times I have visited the stall in serpentine green shopping centre. The first time i visited my gel colour discoloured within a few days, I was offered to go back and get them redone. Second visit, the nail technician started to file my nails down and was going to put another colour on top of the one I already had. I had to emphasise the fact I wanted him to take the old colour off. My nails are now left lumpy and ugly and nothing like I asked for. I couldn't communicate with the nail technician due to language barriers. The lady in charge did try and fix the problem but I'm still left with lumpy, terrible shaped nails which is annoying. There is a reason why nail design are more expensive but I would rather pay a tad more and have perfect nails and no heart ache. Read Less
