Came here because I couldn’t get a last minute appointment at my usual nail bar kimono around the corner so I thought I’d give them a go. I immediately regretted it!! When they were pushing my cuticles down it was excruciatingly painful and made me bleed!! The very rude and unpleasant girl who was doing my nails didn’t even acknowledge it and when I pointed it out she just grunted something at me! If this wasn’t bad enough the paint was nowhere near as neat and tidy as the lovely girls at kimono would do it and by day two it was all chipped off!!! Horrible experience and I wouldn’t go back if they payed me. Save yourself the pain and trouble and go round the corner to kimono. Read Less

I had been holding off on getting a pedicure for a while because they were pretty expensive, and it was winter so no one was seeing my feet. Finally, after a particularly difficult week, I decided to treat myself at Cambridge Nails & Spa.Most of the pedicure was okay - the feet soaking, nail shaping, etc. However, they used some sort of scraper to remove the thick skin off the bottoms of my feet. I was amazed at how much there was when suddenly I felt a sharp pain - they had removed so much skin on the bottom of pinky toe that it started to bleed. So much for a relaxing pedicure - the pedicurist apologized and finished my nails up. For the next week or so, it hurt to walk because if the toe touched anything it'd start hurting again. I had a simple manicure here, with clear nail polish applied. I thought everything was ok, but the machine used to trim my cuticles (?) seems to have damaged my nails... I'd never seen such a machine and this has never happened at other nail places in the past.I did really want to like this place and perhaps some of the other manicurists are better, but my experience wasn't great.
