I went to city nails for a pedicure. Being a full figured woman, pedicures have never really been that comfortable because some of the positions u need to get into can be quite challenging. Lol. The gentleman who did my pedicure went above and beyond to make this experience a pleasurable one.I didn't feel judged or ridiculed and the results were above expectations . Thank you so much. Wouldn't recommend...went in for infiills...indicated I wanted Gel...on the board it says £18 charged me £25 with an attitude I was close to knocking out. Argued my point but the whole shop got involved. Plus the finish was bad. You can get infills with gels for max £20...proper rip off. Don't entertain them with your money. Read Less

Oh goodness - please steer clear. This was a one-star experience from start to finish. My mum and I visited City Nails together: she asked for a Shellac manicure and I got a pedicure. The £25 "Shellac manicure" consisted of painting her nails with one coat of Shellac-type nail varnish, which took under 10 minutes in total. No filing, buffing, cuticle work, hand massage, top coat... just a careless swatch of paint. That is not a manicure, and definitely not worth £25. My pedicure was completed using tools that were stored in an open plastic container on the floor and not cleaned before or after being used on my feet, in a spa chair that had clearly not been cleaned. No evidence anywhere of cleaning products or sterilising equipment, and no indication that any of the staff are certified. To add injury to insult, the practitioner cut my toe with the nail clippers during the ordeal. Very much a place to avoid. Read Less

I went to City Nails without an appointment and they took me with no issue! There were a couple of other ladies in the nail salon with me getting their nails done.City Nails Spa is located right in the same plaza that has the Milton Keynes train station. It's very convenient if you're trying to kill some time while waiting for a train. The workers were not overly nice but perfectly pleasant as they worked on me. I went for just a regular manicure and they upsold me on a shellac manicure. I'm so glad they did because it was absolutely worth the extra money to have it last 2.5 weeks versus less than a week. I also really liked their polish colors - I picked a pretty bright blue.For shellac nail polish removal, plus a new shellac manicure, I paid 26 GBP. City Nails is a very no frills type of nail salon but they get the job done! Read Less
