l have just left Five Star nails and to say l am so disappointed with them is an understatement they always say a service is only as good as their customer service which to me is non exsistant. I had my nails done a week and a day ago shellac, which they have done for me in the past and have been more than happy they always looked lovely.l did feel when they were doing them this time l felt uneasy the shop was packed and they were all very busy which puts more pressure of them but that shouldn't be at the cost of clients,we had waited ages even though l had booked appt for both myself and my daughter.My own fault but l didn't have my glasses with me to look at them properly it was only when l got home l saw real flaws in them colour very uneven they really looked rushed and done with very little care but l thought ok not so great this time So a week later l am now missing the top of one it's just peeled off, my nail hasn't snapped there is just no shellac there is uneven colouring down at roots of the nails generally dreadful looking and a couple of them you can see are starting to lift , which l know will be off in a day or so.So l called five star they told me to come down which l did l am then fed all sorts of excuse my nails are to blame, the colour l have chosen,the heat etc. They offered to sort a couple of them not all of them.l told them l am so ashamed of my nails and if they wouldn't redo them then could they just take it all off to which they said no they will only sort a couple of them "really" if a customer would rather not have anything other than the mess taken off is that not telling you something .A week and one day ago my nails were natural now l am left with nails that look a complete mess and have payed for the privilege.Shameful you have lost my custom. Went in for infills and pedicure on Sunday. The male technician did my infills in about 15 minutes. The pedicure was rushed- no foot cream applied. Just a big rush. Had a manicure done last Saturday, within a couple of days the skin around my nails started to split (the cuticles had been pushed back too far) - during the week it got progressively worse and became quite painful. I went back today to see if there was something they could do to fix the appeareance/ discomfort. As soon as I explained the situation the man at the desk told me he couldn't give me my money back because its been over a week (1 day over), I asked if there was anything they could do to fix it and he quite bluntly said no. There was no apology, no sense of keeping a customer whos been going there for years. I'll now be travelling further to get my nails done because the service is not at all worth the money. I went here for the first time just over a week ago and I will not be going back. I got shellac nails and after a few days 2 of my nails started chipping - that’s never happened before. And just in the last couple of days, the nail colour has changed and are starting to look dirty? Again, never happened before. I also got my toe nails painted and after a few days, one of the nail paints on one of my toes came off completely. Very odd. So disappointed. Read Less

Depends on the staff working on the day generally I have had amazing treatments here... but my most recent visit I was left disappointed.. . I had a pedicure that was long finished before others that were already seated before me.. and 2 days later feel as though another pedicure is desperately needed... I also took my daughter with me who was just to have her fingers and toes painted in regular polish... my pedicure as finished before she was she was made to wait along time between her hands being painted and her toes... Terrible place with terrible customer service. I never usually review places but was prompted to because I was so unhappy with my experience! We booked in advance and got there and still had to wait an hour - bookings obviously don't mean anything here. The quality was also poor as they were rushing, and when I complained they just said 'sorry, we are just busy'. I suggested that they don't take bookings when they can't stick to them as it made me late to a party. They did not offer anything to compensate. I recommend going somewhere else! Read Less
