I asked for them to bring all my nails down to uniform length and I’ve ended up with one cut so much it bled. It’s still bleeding as I type this review. She took more off than necessary, basically cutting through the area where the nail joins the skin with the clippers. I screamed in pain when she realised what she had done was holding my hand back strongly to prevent me from looking at it. It hurts so much and I am worried having not paying attention to how they sterilise their utensils. Upon reluctantly continuing she began to file my nails so badly I ended up asking for the nail file to do it myself. When it came to the “professional” application of shellac polish I have been left with a result that I could have easily achieved at home with a cheap tin of emulsion and a roller. Avoid.

I have just paid my first visit to planet nails,a young man Called David did my Acrylics,a he was very polite and very gentle.
We had a very good chat throughout the one hour visit,and yes everyone ...
I have just paid my first visit to planet nails,a young man Called David did my Acrylics,a he was very polite and very gentle.
We had a very good chat throughout the one hour visit,and yes everyone chats to each other and clients chat to each other.
Take the bad reviews with a pinch of salt,it would be very boring if no one spoke to each other .
When you visit a salon the stylists talk to each other ,so its just the same as planet nails,enjoy the atmosphere and chill out
Yes there are bits and bobs of nail clippings and bits of dust,WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ITS A BUSY PLACE..
Hair salons have hair alover, DEAL WITH IT.
Every body works hard and they are all very pleasant to all there clients and regular clients are spoken to in first name terms which is very friendly.
Looking forward to my next visit,I would highly recommend Planet Nails my French polish Acrylics look fabulous.

I have been going to planet nails religiously for a year and a half now for SNS and wouldnt go anywhere else. They always do a fab job and i constantly get compliments on my nails! Plus the staff are lovely and welcoming. Ignore the bad reviews you cant please everyone!

My daughter & I used to go here all the time but I had a very shoddy job done with a new product SNS
As someone else said my nails ended up like paper & became very painful. But today my daughter & I decided to have a pedicure each. The guy doing my feet used an open razor on my heels causing them to bleed he then wacked on some surgical spirit NO warning my feet are a bloody mess the whole thing was over in half an hour not good enough guys when there is soo much competition

Dirty, hacked at my nails taking off the shellac, used a metallic electric file, little customer service. I would not recommend.

DONT go here! The staff are rude and ignore you and just talk amongst themselves. The place is not very clean. I have shellac nails and they use a metal file to take off the existing shellac. After 3 visits my nails resembled paper and were so weak. I now go to a different place and my nails are gorgeous and not a problem at all.

I asked for them to bring all my nails down to uniform length and I’ve ended up with one cut so much it bled. It’s still bleeding as I type this review. She took more off than necessary, basically cutting through the area where the nail joins the skin with the clippers. After 3 visits my nails resembled paper and were so weak. I now go to a different place and my nails are gorgeous and not a problem at all.
