Had my nails painted with shellac Monday and they started peeling 4 days later.
I have had shellac before but never haven they peeled so quickly. Really disappointed, such a waste of money. Like others I did wonder if they knew what they were doing? Nails where filed down in an irregular manor,and shellac was uneven, can see through tops of nails.
Nails were a nice shape and quite long when I went in and because of the shellac peeling of the ends of my nails have gone soft and started breaking.
Wouldn't recommend

Went in for a shellac removal, my nails were long and strong, she just scraped the gel off with a metal tool and ripped all the layers off my nails. 2 snapped half way up my nail bed as soon as I left...
Went in for a shellac removal, my nails were long and strong, she just scraped the gel off with a metal tool and ripped all the layers off my nails. 2 snapped half way up my nail bed as soon as I left so I've had to cut them all down to the base. No one said a word to me, didn't even say thanks or bye, and indeed of putting my change into my open hands she put it on the counter for me to pick up myself after she had walked off. Awful awful awful! Even for something as quick and simple as a gel removal!!!

Don't bother with this place. Unprofessional, rude, useless. I asked for nails to be short, guys laughs in my face saying polish will just come off. Well, if you slap them on in 30 sec flat like he did cos he couldn't be bothered with my simple file & polish when there were other customer with slightly bigger job waiting, then yeah, it'll come off straight away. I am the customer, you take my custom in exchange for money then YOU SHOULD TREAT ME LIKE A CUSTOMER. Never setting foot in that dingy hell-hole again.

Avoid like the plague! The man who did my nails was the owner and he was VERY unprofessional. He kept making comments about how short my nails were and how 'he couldn't possibly do anything with them'...
Avoid like the plague! The man who did my nails was the owner and he was VERY unprofessional. He kept making comments about how short my nails were and how 'he couldn't possibly do anything with them' he also laughed and said i was 'very strange to not want acrylics like everybody else'. I asked for gel nails and he used shellac on my nails, I've had my nails done numerous times and I could completely tell he didn't have a clue what he was doing, he didn't even put a base coat on and made me wait 8 minutes for my nails to dry under a LED light which is not right. He was originally going to charge me £27 which I said was absolutely ridiculous until he went down to £18. I feel like I've been completely ripped off as unsurprisingly the nails did not even last TWO days before they began peeling off. When I complained to the man he said it was my fault because I had such short nails!!

I have had shellac before but never haven they peeled so quickly. Really disappointed, such a waste of money. Like others I did wonder if they knew what they were doing? Nails where filed down in an irregular manor,and shellac was uneven, can see through tops of nails.
Nails were a nice shape and quite long when I went in and because of the shellac peeling of the ends of my nails have gone soft and started breaking.
