Absolutely awful. I'm new to gel nails. Had my ties done for summer elsewhere and they were beautiful but couldn't get an appointment to have them redone so went to perfect nail on St Peters. Older lady who didn't speak English did them and it really hurt. She used a machine and dug into my nail bed. But because she covered my nails again I couldn't see the damage till removed. My ties hurt but I was shocked when I saw them. Will loose a toe nail on one for sure but both big to nails brushed and mishapen. Hope the y grow out ok and are not permanently damaged. Can't see option to load pictures. If anyone knows how please let me know. Only gave a star because it wouldn't let you post without. This place should be zero!

I booked an appointment for 3:30 but didn't get started until 4:10, however my nails looked amazing when they got done (acrylics) but I've had them done 6 days and already 4 of them have come off, so ...
I booked an appointment for 3:30 but didn't get started until 4:10, however my nails looked amazing when they got done (acrylics) but I've had them done 6 days and already 4 of them have come off, so I've had to take them all off because my hands looked a mess. I used to get my nails done there quite often (I think that was when the old owners were there) and they used to last over 3 weeks, but these are very fragile and don't last anywhere near as long, wouldn't recommend.

Great place, been going for acrylics for about two years. Only ever had one acrylic break and even though it had been about a week since being done I went in and they replaced it for free no questions...

Nail snapped off with in a week. Not impressed would not reccomend. Was expecting more and had heard good things so was disappointed if I'm honest.

Been told filing for gel was 25Β£, a new set of gel 33Β£ and Β£20 just fill in with top color! I've actually paid 30Β£ because I had a top color gel!Neah, the topping is 100% manicure! What is the point of not making a full new set for 3Β£ more. My nails look horrible and can seen the french under from previous gel nail! I dont usually comment but this is so disappointed! I would not recommend Oakham nails, my nails were poorly shaped and uneven, when painted it was uneven it is expensive for poor quality

Had my nails done yesterday, the staff in there were talking to each other throughout, not in English must I add. My cuticle got cut with the electric buffer and they sealed it with some liquid that has now left my finger swollen and in pain!! And just to add that when my nails were being done the man answered a face time call!!

Absolutely awful. I'm new to gel nails. Had my ties done for summer elsewhere and they were beautiful but couldn't get an appointment to have them redone so went to perfect nail on St Peters. Older lady who didn't speak English did them and it really hurt. She used a machine and dug into my nail bed. But because she covered my nails again I couldn't see the damage till removed. My ties hurt but I was shocked when I saw them. Will loose a toe nail on one for sure but both big to nails brushed and mishapen. Hope the y grow out ok and are not permanently damaged. I booked an appointment for 3:30 but didn't get started until 4:10, however my nails looked amazing when they got done (acrylics) but I've had them done 6 days and already 4 of them have come off, so I've had to take them all off because my hands looked a mess. I used to get my nails done there quite often (I think that was when the old owners were there) and they used to last over 3 weeks, but these are very fragile and don't last anywhere near as long, wouldn't recommend.

Had my nails done yesterday, the staff in there were talking to each other throughout, not in English must I add. My cuticle got cut with the electric buffer and they sealed it with some liquid that has now left my finger swollen and in pain!!
