Poor customer service and poor at business retention. Being rude to loyal returning customers is not good business. I was told to give 24 hours notice for my cancellation, even though I didn’t know 24hrs previously that I was going to have a chest infection diagnosis. I understand policy and business, however, there are ways of talking to people and emailing them without being so rude. And I was lied to afterwards when told I was offered the opportunity to donate my treatment to friends or family when I was not. Simple apology and good manners is all that was needed, not rudeness and lies. It’s just bad business. I guess businesses like yours are not interested in customer retention. I shall therefore not return. Read Less

Totally Unacceptable Customer Service. My wife had a Gift Voucher to the value of £90 with an expiry date of 08/11/17. We recently added an additional voucher to the value of £50 as a Birthday present and when attempting to book an appointment for treatments on her actual Birthday on 11/11/17 was told that as the first voucher expired 3 days before, it was no longer valid. With 3 kids under 3 it is very difficult to be able to pick and choose dates and to have a treat on her Birthday was the first opportunity we had. We suggested bringing in the voucher ahead of the 8th so it could be redeemed but it was a definite and uncompromising 'no' with the only reason being 'policy' and 'the system won't accept it'. Having been out of Bristol for a variety of reasons out of our control over the last few months this has been the first opportunity to make a booking and to be treated in this way is absolutely ridiculous. We try and support local independent businesses as much as possible, but to be dealt with in such an inflexible, 'corporate' and impersonal manner completely detracts from what is supposed to be a business providing a luxurious service?! We were not offered any alternative and/or resolve so we have lost £90 which is now pure profit for this business with no service actually provided. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review. Unfortunately the response did not include any acknowledgement of the fact we offered to call into the premises whilst the voucher was within its valid time period and have it redeemed with the treatment booked for 3 days later. When this was suggested we were informed that 'the system could not process this action'. We are fully aware of the policy in place and its associated dates which have been regularly quoted during the 'multiple' phone calls made to try and resolve this matter amicably, but we are left with £90 taken from us with no service provided, along with the growing number of others we're learning of, who have also had similar experiences, some with even higher values of cash kept by your business as pure profit. Poor customer service. Made a booking online at 3:30pm for the following morning. Due to having to pick my poorly sister up I had to ask to rearrange the appointment for the following morning. Despite still wanting to rearrange and the booking only being made the previous day I was charged £20 (half of the treatment price). I was told several times this was their policy and I was lucky to not be being charged the full £40. When I made the booking the salon had appointments available every hour. I do not believe my 45min window that wasn't used would have prevented another booking. I appreciate there are terms and conditions but at previous salons I have used consideration is normally given to the circumstances. I had an unavoidable emergency, I had previously had two waxes and I had also recommended two customers, the booking was made less than 20hrs before and I was asking to rearrange for the following morning, not cancel the appointment. I do not believe this approach shows any value to your customers. It is a shame as the treatments were fine but I will now use a different salon and will stop recommending. Two stars because the treatments are fine. Read Less

My first experience of eyelash extensions was a disaster , I am so upset of the way I've been treated. There was so much glue applied that the lashes were all bunched together they looked hideous. I went for a second opinion at a good source and they told me they would have to be removed because there was so much glue you couldn't separate them. When I went back to Pamperbanana the girl that did them took me into a room and offered to separate them but that would have been impossible. I said they needed to be removed and done again, So she Removed them. I thought they were going to do them again or offer my money back. NO they were so cunning no one else saw the damage not even the manager had a look, She came out after and made so many excuses there was no way they were going to compensate. £105.00 down the drain. I feel so upset the way they treated me I couldn't sleep that night. Now I'm hearing really bad things about this place, it's too late for me but who ever is thinking about eyelash extensions please think again. I'm going to get in touch with the evening post because people should not be treated the way I was. APPALLING !!!Read Less
