Just had a fantastic experience at Nails 1. I booked in as a bridal party and the ladies were so welcoming and chatty and made us feel super special. They even had the fizz ready! We all loved our nails, and they were accommodating with us changing from manicures to shellac last minute. The Bride's acrylics look beautiful and the prices were also really reasonable. Thanks so much!

Possibly one of the worst places in Bristol. Completely unprofessional staff with their friends regularly coming in and out, having open conversations throughout treatments. Kids running around the shop. Shellac began peeling after a week. Opening hours are as they please, not as per website - whenever they feel like leaving they will. Incompetent and incapable of turning up for booked appointments, so much so that they had closed up for the day when I arrived for my booking.

My self and my daughter went in for pedicures and I need my acrylic soaked off and a gel polish applied. I made it very clear what i need done!!!!We sat and waited to get a pedicure for an hour. Then after the owner tells me she doesn’t have time to soak my nails!!!! We were there for two hours just to not get fully serviced. She didn’t even seem to care. Very rude. Didn’t try to make it right or offer any other solutions. She really waisted my time!!!

Went for a standard manicure, which was advertised as £15. As nails were wet manicurist took money - £20 - from my pocket (as they do in salons). She gave me just over £1 in change as opposed to £5! No top coat or anything else, only a base coat and two coats of nail polish. Nails chipped within 1 day.

I went yesterday for a mani/pedi and they were GREAT and welcoming!! I really enjoyed it because I don't do this very often, so it was a nice treat and I'll be sure to go more often from now on!

Earlier today I had a new set of acrylic nail extensions, I am extremely pleased with the result - my nails are so neat. The lady who did my nails was friendly and her attention to detail was brilliant. The prices at the salon are also extremely reasonable. I will definitely be returning.

I went to Nails1 for a spray tan last year and got talked into 'banking one'. Basically this meant buying another in advance. I phoned recently to ask to book the second but was told it would have 'expired' as more that 6 months old. The voucher did not state this but I was told there was a poster in the shop that explained this. Shame they didn't tell me at the time of sale and that they didn't even try to keep my custom by offering me even the slightest discount. I felt they were looking down on me and when I did go in the owner asked me to wait while she finished having her own nails done! This took 15 minutes! Never again! I have now booked for my daughter-in-law and myself to have a tan done at Wish Beauty Salon where they have always been polite to me.

Just had a fantastic experience at Nails 1. I booked in as a bridal party and the ladies were so welcoming and chatty and made us feel super special. They even had the fizz ready! We all loved our nails, and they were accommodating with us changing from manicures to shellac last minute. The Bride's acrylics look beautiful and the prices were also really reasonable. Possibly one of the worst places in Bristol. Completely unprofessional staff with their friends regularly coming in and out, having open conversations throughout treatments. I went to Nails1 for a spray tan last year and got talked into 'banking one'. Basically this meant buying another in advance.
