Went in hoping that the reviews from Google were honest. Well, they were!! Visiting Tampa area....I live over 100 miles away. I requested a pedicure and went in for an acrylic fill. I left with a fabulous pedicure and leg massage and a gel full set. I knew that I had to remove the acrylic from my actual nails but I was procrastinating. Thomas did my nails and was not pushing for a full set. He was totally happy to honor my initial request of an acrylic fill. The way... my nails came out...I am so happy that I did do a full set. Was in Tampa on business. My co-worker and I went into Fancy Nail on a whim. She had a full set of gel nails, a deluxe pedicure had a glass of wine and paid $8. I had a gel manicure no tips, a pedicure and no wine and mine cost $75. I do give the company credit that they did come out and ask me if I wanted my money back but I asked them to instead give it to the woman who had given me a deluxe pedicure when I did not ask for one. She did a great job and deserve to have the ...money. The breakdown in communication is a serious issue. Maybe they could have their price list laminated and allow people to Circle what they want or point to what they want so that there's no miscommunication.The one other thing I did not like about this place is that there were dogs and kids and too many people running all over the place. It was not relaxing at all and the person doing my manicure was literally almost sitting in my lap standing right over top of me asking me to hold the machine that I was putting my hands in and got dust and nail stuff all over me. I'm from out of town, and I found the salon by searching on google. I did see a lot of good reviews on FB and I decided to get my nails done there. I'm very picky on my nails. Lin did a good job on my nails. I would recommend him for whom needs fancy designs. I will be back there again when I am in town. Read Less

Unfortunately my friend and I had a very bad experience here. They filed the shellac off our nails leaving them weak and damaged. The scissors and manicure tools were dirty and not sterilized after each customer. They cut my cuticles back too far making one finger bleed. There was very little customer hospitality communication. Would love to leave a good review but sadly can't. This place seems to operate on the dodgy "do half a job and leave the customer for half an hour knowing they can't leave with something half done" principle, and given they aren't any better than other places around, isn't really worth it. I am 22 and have been biting my nails since i was about 12 (disgustin habit, i know) and so yet again my New Years Resolution was to give up the habit. I'd tried everything i could to stop, but i even got used to the taste of the horrible stuff you paint onto your nails which is meant to taste so horrible you won't even think about putting your lips near what was left of your cuticles. I was going strong for about 2 weeks, when i was walking past Creations with my boyfriend who said that if i kept it up for a month then he'd treat me. Perfect idea. I managed for over a month and took a trip to Creations to get my nails done professionally. I was so excited to finally have nails and there were so many other options, patterns, colours and styles to choose from that i was a bit overwhelmed and opted for the safe bet of the French Manicure. Creations is a small nail studio on Gloucester Road. Whenever I walk past there is always, without fail people having intricate designs painted onto their nails so it's obviously a really good place to go! I like the fact that they do other things apart from nails such as facials and things. I personally think its a bit expensive for me, but I never splash out on things like this. This little boutique sized salon in the middle of 'the good bit' of Gloucester road is a nice place to treat yourself if your hands are suffering in this cold winter air. They offer a range of treatments, from manicures, pedicures and painting and also other beauty treatments like facials and even 'pick n mix' waxing (choose 4 areas for £20), which is a slightly novel idea.
