My nails lasted 1WEEK!!! Awful! The salon is very messy and there were about 4 condensated water bottles on the work station, the two girls working there looked like they’d rather be somewhere else! All the nail varnishes seemed very empty and when I came to get mine painted, the girl had to put thinner in the bottle to get some more varnish out! Not very good customer service from the young English girl who answered the phone with attitude and spoke to clients like rubbish! Will not be returning! Read Less

My second time visiting today on easter Monday! Pre messaged them on Facebook to check opening times and they were very helpful and offered that I book. When I arrived at 4pm bless them they were very busy but they got to serving me very fast and always make me laugh! Best nail salon in Bath. It is always a consistent, high quality standard of both quality of nails and customer service. The employees are always lovely, so friendly and always make sure you're happy! Wouldn't consider going to any other nail salon in Bath. Needed to have my polymer gel nails taken off before returning to work on Monday so popped in. No problem as they were able to do it with no appointment needed. Took 15 minutes and was well worth the money (£10). Really friendly and professional service. Read Less

I have been supporting them for over two years. I have always been happy with the service, until now. My last three visits have been unpleasant. Treated like a stranger when I arrived. Waiting almost half hour, in spite of having an appointment. Walk- ins just asked to wait, resulting in no space in salon. Told I was not entitled to cuticle oil as I was only having varnish and not gellish. Making yourself understood in English, making explaining what I required, challenging. Miss the lovely couple who knew what customer service is. No thanks. Will find somewhere else to spend my money EVERY FORTNIGHT! Read Less

I chose this salon based on its reviews and have not been disappointed - and will always recommend X-cellent to others! The staff are friendly, polite, chatty if you want them to be, and work incredibly fast/effectively. I'm still a 'new regular' but will definitely be staying on as a customer. They took their time to ensure that my nails were perfect (approx 1hour for gel infills) and the staff were really accomodating. I asked for a marble nail design and although they were unsure how to do it they took time to work it out to give me the design I asked for. They also have a loyalty system in place where it you have 5 treatments/services done you get 20% off your next one. Which is perfect for students.Read Less

I have been going to X-cellent nails for a few years now and they are so brilliant! I have never had a bad manicure from them. I have had gel, normal paint and also my eyebrows threaded. Every time they are really quick and the results are always brilliant. I recently had my nails done for my wedding and they did such an amazing job! Staff were rude and unhelpful, made my friend wait half an hour even though we made an appointment. I had a facial done and was meant to have 45 minutes but only had 25. I wasn't told what was being put on my face which was uncomfortable - it's lucky I didn't break out in a rash! Not worth the money at all. Read Less
