Had a really fine appointment. Everyone that i was in contact with from reception desk to therapists were very friendly and welcoming. My treatment which was a deluxe pedicure, was carried out by Claire. She was really friendly, put me at ease right away, i was totally at home and relaxed. Such a great visit. My mum and i spent the afternoon here. I'll definatly be back. A well organised but very welcoming and laid back atmosphere. Kare rescued my nails after I removed acrylics myself. I booked in for a gel manicure but after looking at my nails, Kate advised I’d be best having them tidied up and cuticle work done followed by regular polish. They look and feel so much better now! I have rebooked for next week to have the same done and hopefully the following week they will have grown enough for gel polish. Absolutely awful. My manicure is atrocious, pretty sure my 8 year old cousin could do a better job. Cuticles not touched, nails lightly filed but not even and not all the same shape, nail polish not applied evenly and only given one coat of colour so is patchy and bubbles on some nails. One chipped only 4 hours after leaving. Found staff to be more interested in speaking to each other in the office than customers. Treatment was meant to last 30 mins but only took 15 and was left to sit the remaining time on my own for them to dry. No one came to check they were dry I simply got up when I was fed up and reluctantly handed over my gift card given by family at my baby shower as a pre baby treat but it was no treat and I got home and took it straight off. I booked in to get a "manicure" before I travelled home to see family. The moment I stepped in, I found staff to be rude, arrogant and made to feel unwelcome. This was my first time at pure, so I was expecting it to be a professional outfit, instead, what I received doesn't even deserve 1 star. I was so disappointed and upset. My cuticles were left untouched, nails left weak and the varnish was uneven and bubbling off straight away. The technician was very aware of this happening but was not willing to fix the problem. Safe to say, a short trip to boots for nail varnish remover sorted it(5 stars)!! I do not recommend, nor will I ever be back. Read Less

I have used the spa for lashes 3 times before but this time they all came off after 2 days so had them redone again and this time they are all off again after 5 days which is ridiculous! I am also still waiting for the manager to call me from the first time. I would like my money refunded please so that I can go elsewhere. Read Less

Staff do not have appropriate training on offers available on website leading to being over charged for treatments and when trying to get in touch they don’t respond to emails therefore will not be returning and taking my custom elsewhere. Customer service is poor Read Less

Booked in for luxury package for 2 and everything was absolutely amazing. I had Rebekah for my mud wrap & hot stone massage, she had Sharlene. They don't have facility for both of us to be in same room but that was fine. Appreciated they kept your decency/dignity very professional and didn't once make you feel nervous or embarrassed. Spa lunch took place next door at Carluccio's. It's a set menu with either starter/main or main/dessert (no drinks included). After lunch we went back for rest of package. I had Kate for my facial & manicure and she had Monica for her facial & pedicure. We both agree that they were all very friendly & helpful. Would easily go again & recommend to anyone. Read Less

Once more the showers were absolutely filthy. I did report this last time I was here ( it's happened 3 times in total now) but it seems that nothing was done about it. One shower was covered in hair 😫and the other in oil which was dangerous. Both were dirty and this is unforgivable in any Spa, but especially as they pride themselves as being 'top end' The two stars are for my therapist, who was lovely. Read Less

After trying to book online and several strings of emails months before the date. I finally thought I'd been booked in for my day at the spa. Alas no one bothered to email back with details. I even called to book in as well so my full day voucher wouldnt expire before I had a chance to use it. After calling again to confirm I was told my day wasnt booked and they were sorry but couldnt do anything about it except I come in on a weekday in the morning (some of us have 9-5s). I just think its poor planning and management if someone has to plan a spa day 1 to 2 months in advance and find out there was no follow up what so ever! I made the booking 2 weeks ahead of the required date for 2 massages for my daughter and I, at 10.30. 2 days before my appointment, Pure SPA phoned to say they were sorry but due to staff illness, could they reschedule my appointment to 2pm. No problem. 1 day prior to appoinment, they phoned to confirm my appointment at 10.30. When I questioned them was it not 2pm, they said no, it was definitely 10.30. They thought someone else probably wasn't able to reschedule so the receptionist had moved us back to 10.30. It would have been useful to have told me that though. My daughter and I arrived at 10.30 to be told that the appointment was only for 1 person BUT they could fit us in at 1pm. I was REALLY fed up by this time but agreed to the change of time. All this said, once we did get the massages they were WORTH THE WAIT. I would highly recommend the actual treatment but would exercise caution in booking another appointment with them. Read Less
