Great iColour job by Kayleigh. She also fixed my layers cut unequal a week earlier by another top-salon. Everyone, from the moment I stepped in to make an appointment to the moment I left, is absolutely lovely. Kayleigh kindly helped and guided me with my initial statement that "Im not sure what I want, something nice, make it pretty" to an awesome hairstyle and colour. Defo making it my regular salon. Very disappointed with the lack of service offered by this salon. I attended an appointment to have my hair extensions put in, which I believed to be 100% human hair. The hairdresser informed me that they were melting and not real hair, hence, I realised I had been conned. I took the dispute to trading standards and asked Mokoko to simply reaffirm their “opinion” by email. On the day (before I had paid), the hairdresser said yes; I then had to call 3 times to be told that the...y were not willing to help as their “opinion” would not support my case. As a Law student, I understand that this is not true due to Mokokos account forming my basis of my belief that the hair was fake. This was fact and I needed to reaffirm this. I was not involving the salon into the legal area whatsoever. On the day, the salon also refused to wash my hair, informing me that “it was not part of the service”, while a hair up costs £30 with a £10 off voucher, I was charged £25 - why?
