Booked a pre birthday Spa day for my daughter and I but unfortunately I was late in booking it so there wasn't appointments left for all the treatments we wanted but Leanne the Manager was so lovely and juggled things around for us so we still managed a mini day for my daughter's pre Birthday and we still have pedicures and manicures to look forward to in a weeks time. My daughter had a Neck, Shoulder and Back Massage followed by an Express Facial with the lovely Olga and she... felt totally relaxed after it. I had the sample LED Light Mask with an Express Facial to follow with the gentle Stevie B it was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep. We have been to Citi Spa on numerous occasions and I must say we have never left feeling disappointed- the staff are all lovely so friendly and helpful - we highly recommend a visit whether it's a quick treatment or a day of pampering and you could also have a lunch or high tea deal with Molly's - ask for details. My friend and I visited for a facial & shellac after being treated badly elsewhere we were delighted to discover this hidden gem on Market street. Fantastic service from Sammy and Stevie who did our treatments together int he double room downstairs, then upstairs for nails. We were a little early and were given herbal tea whilst we waited. The girls clearly love their jobs and it shows through in their enthusiasm. On a cold winters day we had a lovely welcome here. Does Megawhite illegal teeth whitening. No need to take my word for it - go the the General Dental Council site and search for Megawhite. You will find five criminal prosecutions against Megawhite and a press release by the General Dental Council confirming that teeth whitening is illegal unless performed by a dentist. As you can see from the reply, this salon is trying to find a LEGAL LOOP HOLE so that they can whiten teeth. Luckily, when it comes to court, the judges have seen through this nonsense. There was also a BBC Watchdog special about teeth whitening that confirmed that whitening is illegal unless done be a dentist. Think about it - who would you believe: - a manufacturer that has been criminally prosecuted 5 times for illegal dentistry and the salon trying to sell it to you - The General Dental Council, BBC Watchdog and all the other newspapers that have reported on them. To get an idea of how confident Megawhite are, they have recently changed their name to "Ultra Smile Express" to distance themselves from the prosecutions. Lovely girls, great service and a really beautiful spa - theres so much more to it than you realise from outside! I went down to the toiled and they have another 4 or 5 treatment rooms down there! I'll definitely have to come back for a more extensive pampering session! I popped in here as I was staying at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel and got 20% off treatments so came in for a shellac manicure which is still going strong - so much better than normal polish. A real tranquil Gem on a busy street - definitely a great find - I'll be back ladies! Read Less
