I had been to the gateway branch about a week ago. Service was pathetic. At first, the lady at reception made me think I was lost just because she couldn't find my booking. I had to wait about 15-20mins passed my booking time to have someone attend to me. The lady who had done my nails was not friendly at all she was so rough on my fingers that she bruised my finger and it started to bleed. The quality of this service was pathetic. It is only a week since I have done the acrylic set and it has already started to peel off on its own. The shape is not what I asked for and the look of it is absolutely cheap. Definitely not worth R400. I would not be able to recommend this place to anyone and wish I had read the reviews before going there.

Went for a soak of yesterday at Gateway, the lady that did the soak of was extremely rude, I indicated that my nails were gel( which they were) the lady insisted that it was acrylic she certainly did ...
Went for a soak of yesterday at Gateway, the lady that did the soak of was extremely rude, I indicated that my nails were gel( which they were) the lady insisted that it was acrylic she certainly did not hide her irritation she did infact raise her voice and told me she is a nail tech and she knows that this is acrylic as if I did not know what was on my nails., I do in fact know the difference between gel and acrylic nails.That's definitely not how a paying customer should be treated.

My 8yo daughter saved her pocket money and had her first mani & pedi yesterday. She is super impressed and will be back for more when we come on holiday again.

I had been to the gateway branch about a week ago. Service was pathetic. At first, the lady at reception made me think I was lost just because she couldn't find my booking. Went for a soak of yesterday at Gateway, the lady that did the soak of was extremely rude, I indicated that my nails were gel( which they were) the lady insisted that it was acrylic she certainly did not hide her irritation she did infact raise her voice and told me she is a nail tech and she knows that this is acrylic as if I did not know what was on my nails., I do in fact know the difference between gel and acrylic nails.That's definitely not how a paying customer should be treated.
