With great disappointment at my last appointment to do scurl when I entered the salon I had asked how much is scurl and was told R150 the guy that cut my hair then told me R180 I then asked why cos the lady in front told me R150 he then went on explaining that the R150 ones r dark n lovely etc they don’t last long R180 is for Ladine which the curls last longer with amazement at the price increase I then told him to proceed with the Ladine one. During my session I noticed he w...as applying the scurl relaxer with no Vaseline or hair food on the edges I asked if it doesn’t burn since he is not applying anything to protect the edges he said no 5 min into it I start burning of which my scalp gets burnt in the process. Disappointed by Edendale branch staff. Came to wash my hair and they didn't want to wash me for no reason i know of. They haven't even seen my hair coz i had my hat on. Came for an organic hair treatment for my afro 2months back the price was 120 the service was 100%... and now it costs 150 iyehheni 25%price hike in 2 months well thats fine if the service is good bt as for the horrible service I recieved the lady who was doing my hair actually had the nerve to ask me to put my doek back on after doing my hair nd rushed back to finish another client ...like I paid more for a worse service ... Today was at Commercial branch at Imvelo. Had very long hair and I needed to do a pixie cut and dye it caramel blonde. However your hairdresser cut my hair and put die without relaxing my hair. I have been doing my hair at Imvelo PMB for approx 2-3 years. Because I stay in camperdown and work in Durban I have recently had the opportunity to use 3 branches PMB, Hammarsdale and Pinetown Branch. I must say I have received consistent service from all 3 branches. From the welcome i receive, the clear visibility of the prices on the wall, the presentation of the salon and The friendly staff members .The experience of doing my hair at imvelo has been super awesome. And ...to mention that yesterday I did my hair at the Pinetown branch, my hairstylist was Brenda. I Posted on Facebook that i had the best hair wash. She even advised on how best I should take care of my Natural Hair.. And yes Brenda i will be coming back on soon to buy the Jamacian Black oil ...The Pinetown Branch has the Best Manager... I personally do not mind paying the premium prices that you charge, I however advise that the prices should match the service. Your stylists are personable and friendly, I am concerned that you do not have set price lists. I went to the Victoria branch a while back and was charged R400 for short box braids, then told the first two packets are on the house. The braids started falling off within days. Then I went to the Southgate Spar branch where I did steps which were nice an...d I was charged R250 for those and didn't have to pay for extensions. I went back recently and did i snoopy I was charged R150 for it then I'm told sengilukwa I have to pay an additional R30 for extensions which wouldn't even equate to a packet. Why are your services and prices not set? You find stylists unsure of prices that you feel like you're being taken for a ride. Yes charge your premium prices, but offer the type of service that equates to those prices. If you're going to add a profit mark up of 200 percent on your synthetic extensions we should be informed that there are conditions depending on the style you've chosen. I only used a quarter of the packet I'd paid for. I know that stylists get paid a commission of what they make, can we as your supporters not pay for this.
