My manicurist left Wellington so I needed to find another place, preferably in the CBD. Since the reviews on Google are either 5 or 1 star, I’d thought I’d chime in. First off, the ladies here know what they are doing. They are very efficient and quick. They wear protective dusk masks so there’s not a lot of chit chat, but that’s fine with me. I’m there to get my nails done and get out, not to have deep philosophical conversations. However, everyone was very polite and I felt very comfortable. They do have an EFTPOS machine, and the price was very reasonable. As for the quality of the gel manicure, it’s very good. A few of my nails are but longer on one hand than the other. It’s not noticible to others but being OCD, it’s a bit bothersome to me. They have a huge selection of colours, which I was very pleased with. I will keep going back. Read Less

WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Wasn't told the prices before having my nails done and wasn't told they don't accept EFTPOS, only accepts cash. Had to run around to find an ATM and wasn't offered an apology for the inconvenience... Also wasn't told the amount due so I had to go to the ATM twice... Very rush and no time was taken on my nails. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! NEVER GOING BACK!!!! Went in yesterday, absolutely hated it ! Made me pay before anything. I would have left as soon as she started but I remembered I had already paid and there would be no way for a refund if I left. Super rude, the whole thing was very painful, the lady grabbed my finger with the nail clippers and said yup it's okay when I screamed. She filed my real nails until nothing was left. My fingers are in so much pain. I asked for Coffin shaped acrylics and I got super thin and long squared instead. I have glue all around my fingers. The lady also used her nails to push down my cuticles and carried on while I shouted in pain. Read Less

Extremely rude manager. Ordered to pay before the service even began. I was repeatedly and very harshly told to 'relax' when she was tugging my hands - which understandably had the opposite effect. The whole experience left me feeling on edge and praying it would come to an end promptly. Nails were done so poorly they lifted within a couple of days & fell off within a week. Read Less

WOULNT GO THERE AGAIN! Would never normally write a review however from the moment we walked in the service was terrible, ask for my cuticles NOT to be cut but she did it anyway, didn't speak a word of English to us until she heard us talking about it being cheaper elsewhere and spoke among themselves in their own language the rest of the time time. Really annoyed me when they said it's cheaper if you don't want a full manicure half way through the process but at the counter she advised that the price included a full manicure. To make matters worse I got my GEL polish done exactly a week ago and they are already peeling off due to no fault of my own. My $3 essence brand do it yourself gel polish lasts longer than that a waste of $45 and my time. Read Less
