Would not reccomend beauty queen nail and spa. We brought 2x vouchers for a gel spa manicure. When I originally called up to book the staff member booked me in for the wrong date. When we arrived we were seated quickly and the staff started to do our nails. There was 3 staff members and all 3 worked on my mums nails at one point or another. We were charged $10 for one nail to have an acrylic added due to a broken nail. They then tried to charge us another $10 as the staff member did acrylic on 2 nails despite the fact that we told the staff member that only one nail required the acrylic. We also paid for the original gels we had to be removed, they were not removed properly and the staff ended up ripping and damaging the nail as they tried to scrape the gel off. Both sets of our nails were rushed and not painted to the edge. We were sitting for a long time with not a lot being done. We were both cut by the nail technition and after a week my mums finger is still sore. After a week my nails are all chipped to the point that they will have to be removed as they look terrible. Very dissapointed about the quality and lack of technique.

Went in to get gel manicure and pedicure done. The staff were wonderful and it was a great experience!
Definitely will come back again! 👍

Such a lovely salon with lovely staff! I come here regularly for my spa pedicures and always leave feeling relaxed which is always the feeling you hope to have after a morning or afternoon of pamperin...

I purchased Grabone vouchers for myself and my friend (for her birthday!) to use at this salon. We booked a week in advance for a 12.30pm Deluxe pedicure each. We then waited for 40 minutes before b...
I purchased Grabone vouchers for myself and my friend (for her birthday!) to use at this salon. We booked a week in advance for a 12.30pm Deluxe pedicure each. We then waited for 40 minutes before being shown to the pedicure chairs, I waited another 10 minutes for someone to start on my feet, my friend waited another 20 (a total of 1 hour waiting!!). By this time we had stopped enjoying ourselves and were stressed about the car getting a ticket, and the fact we would now likely be late for our booked table later that day in Upper Hutt (despite leaving ourselves plenty of time in between the two bookings).
I had to remind the woman that she had only shaped the nails on one of my feet as she was in such a rush! Another woman then changed the chosen nail colour for my friend's pedicure - when my friend pointed out it was a different colour she was told "no it isn't" and ignored.
During this time other customers were leaving due to the time they had to wait, and another customer was arguing with the staff about being mislead over the prices.
Definitely will not be returning to this place, the overall experience was by far the worst I have experienced in a nail salon :-(

Worst haircut I've ever got! The lady was nice but could not speak or understand much English. Gave me a completely different style than what I asked for.

Marie does great gel nails. They tend to take a lot of walk-in customers, which is fine if not busy. But once I had rung and made an appointment, when I turned up I was asked to wait or come back in half hour because of the walk-ins, very annoying.
