My sister and I went there last night on a recommendation from my niece. The gentlemen that normally does her nails wasn't there. The staff was very rude, the lady that did my nails did a horrible job. Some of the nails were on crooked and I told her, she stated that they would straighten out once she put the acrylic on. well they didn't. My nails look like they were done by a child. I asked for a Matte polish and what I got is a glossy gel. This was my first a DEFINITELY my last visit to this salon. I will go somewhere else to have them correct this mess. Read Less

I got acrylic nails here, the people there are very nice and chatty it’s just where they put the tip on for my acrylics they didn’t file it down so I was left with a bump in my acrylics for a few weeks. Read Less

Was going regularly when I was pregnant and always enjoyed it. Haven't been since having my baby in fear of it being too difficult with a small baby. Got brave and decided to try it and not only did the pedicure feel like heaven, the guys were so kind with my daughter. They were smiling at her, trying to make her laugh, and being so patient with me while I kept her happy. If you're a mom, you know the judgement that can come from bringing a baby into the mix, but I honestly didn't feel that at all... from anyone there, customers included. Bronson has been doing my nails since they opened! Ayoon does my pedicure and does a fabulous job! This place is well run with plenty of qualified technicians to keep busy wait times a minimum. Don't even get me started on the array of colors that they offer. PLENTY of options to choose from!! I always go 30 min early to pick out a color.Read Less

I am unimpressed. i was given a shellac manicure voucher as a gift that I decided to keep for a day when I felt like I really needed it. I happened to check the voucher last night and realized it only had a three month expiry and had expired a month ago. I understand that was my mistake however I think the test of a good company is they make allowances and understand that oversights do happen. I talked to the manager who told me there was nothing do to. To me that doesn't sound like someone who cares about their customers. Maybe a suggestion would be to extend the voucher over a 6 month period to ensure this does not happen again. I however have no intention to go back there again. Read Less

I have found my nail girl! - Amy who is mostly here but can be at Diamond Nails up at three lamps end.This nail salon is super clean, nice lay out and decor. It's right in the middle of Ponsonby Rd. It's not as crazy busy as Diamond Nails but same great job so for a calmer experience I would recommend here. Read Less

Ponsonby Nails is in prime location - just around the corner from Franklin, on Ponsonby, it's the perfect pit stop after a long hard day of retail therapy.  The service may be a bit slow but the girls in there do a wonderful job.
